Sebastian swiftly made his way back to the guest room, where he found Louisa just as he had left her. He took her hand, and gently pulled her up into his arms. “You are so very beautiful,” he said, as his hands worked effortlessly to undo and remove her dress. As it fell to the floor, his arms encircled her, moving her closer to him. He kissed her neck, reveling in her response, as her breathing quickened at each touch of his lips.

The next morning started just as the previous day had; Sebastian brought Louisa her breakfast, checked her wounds, and carried her to the chair. She felt safe enclosed in his arms, and lost as soon as he left her to tend to his young master. She knew that he was no human, but when she had asked, he had simply smiled and said, “My dear, I am simply one hell of a butler.”
