Linda Rivenbark
Bio
I believe in the magic of words, love, and tenacity. There is a world out there that needs to be explored, researched, and written out to try to make some sense of it, and to make a better place for the children of tomorrow.

Linda Rivenbark Interviews Julie Lacksonen
It has been my honor and privilege to interview Julie Lacksonen for the "Not My Shoes" project. I have learned a lot about Julie in the time we have exchanged questions and answers, as well as by reading extensively in her amazing stories. She is a highly talented and caring person who finds time to write about a wide range of topics, teach K-8 school students many aspects of Music, fill her spare time with family activities, and participate in sports like boating, swimming and snorkeling with her husband, Ted. Let's look at what I learned about Julie.

Quotes About Writing
I could stay up all night reading quotes from Goodreads (or other sources) by writers about writing...why they write, how they write, the 'agony and the ecstasy' of being compelled to put experiences, people, events, anything and everything, into print for all the world to read. Oh, wait, I just did!

Coming of Age in the 1960sTop Story - September 2021
I was a late bloomer Baby boomer. Shy to the point of almost being afraid of my own shadow. The boys in my junior high school classes never flirted with me like they did most of the other girls. One of them, in fact, told me not to worry, I would "fill out" one day. It didn't make me feel any better.
