Freedom IngredientsTop Story - December 2023
I was working on a 28 ounce bottle of an unspecified sports drink to combat the dehydration from a recent bout of Covid when something occurred to me. My doctor recommended I drink this, while I know for a fact, it contains chemicals that are banned in Europe and other countries.

Krampus on Campus
‘Twas the night before winter break. The Deltas were having one last hurrah before everyone went home for the holidays. It would be a party of epic proportions. This was the fraternity that invented the '100 proof enema’ and ‘donkey dong roulette.’ Deltas were notorious for their grotesque hazing rituals and a rash of sexual assault accusations.

Classy Car RepairsTop Story - November 2023
Last Saturday while loading up some groceries, I noticed that my trunk would not close. It appeared that the latch was broken. But that didn’t stop me from attempting to slam it shut about a dozen times with all my might, hopping up and down on it like a lunatic. There may have been a few tears. My efforts were unsuccessful and my daughter acted as if it was something I’d done on purpose to inconvenience her.

I Made It to 100*Top Story - November 2023
This story has been sitting in my drafts for a while. I was nervous about boring people with a clip show of my Vocal portfolio. I've seen many of these Vocal milestone pieces on the platform and I figure, why not? I'll just spice it up with my signature wit and optimism.

Tonight We Dine on Cringe
Waiter brought our food Told us to enjoy our meal Then I said, “You too!” *********************** Has this ever happened to you? If it does, please let it go. Don't beat yourself up. The person on the receiving end of your well intentioned misfire has heard it before. You're not the first and you certainly wont be the last. Relax, my friend. Hydrate. Get some sleep and hold your head up high. You're only human after all.

Halloween Vibes to DIY forTop Story - October 2023
I am writing this series as a countdown to Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. Halloween has it all! Hayrides. Scary movies. Haunted houses. Trick or treat. Pumpkin spice and everything nice. If I can manage to pull it off, I'll be writing something with a spooky spin for one vocal community each week in October.

Totally Biased Review of Maria Bamford's New Memoir
I first learned about Maria Bamford in the 2005 documentary, The Comedians of Comedy. I had fallen in love with the comedy of Patton Oswalt after listening to his 2004 album Feelin’ Kinda Patton. It was one I quoted frequently to my comedian friends. So when I found out that he had a movie that centered around him and three other comics on tour, I snatched it up and watched it immediately.
