Do you pass the Bechdel Test?
You know when you're doing something monotonous and you have this ground-shaking revelation about something related to that task and it makes you rethink your entire life? Like when you realise instead of just putting your keys down in a random place, you could put them away on the hook where they're supposed to go? (don't expect me to believe you haven't done it too!)

He Hated Green Lights
That night he hated green lights. He hated the way it meant he had to keep driving, and every green light was like a punch to the face. He winced as he kept his foot on the accelerator, but kept his speed under the limit just so he had more time with her.

The Minotaur's Story
Bullshit. Bullcrap. Cock and bull story. Like a bull in a china shop. The Minotaur had heard all of the idioms, all of the stereotypes and prejudices associated with the bulls. The Summer of The Swarm
Tally, a year and four months after finding her mother in the Swarm, makes her way into the edge of the forest. Her dog, unironically named Cat, walks beside her. The long grass rustles under the dog’s swishing tail. Bringing up the rear of the group is Tally’s newest and only friend, a guy who calls himself Chip. Chip is the only survivor from the hospital gang Tally rescued all those eighteen months ago, and he’s his only family member yet to get bit. He falls in line behind Cat, carrying the supplies.

Smile sweetly, showing just enough teeth to know that your kindness comes with a bite. Be friendly, ask questions because everybody knows to know thy enemy.

Why I'll Always Love Bedtime Stories
Some days I forget I'm not a child anymore. Some days I am full of nostalgia for everything 90's and 00's and I want to play Club Penguin and act seven again. Some days I crave the days where I had no responsibilities besides picking a bedtime story.
