To the Broken-Hearted People
What broken-hearted people need to hear, from someone who has experienced it all. If you’ve just broken up with someone and it still hurts... it’s okay. You did what was right for you. You trusted your gut, and you had to put yourself first. Yes, hurting them is going to hurt, but the only way you can heal is to stop feeling guilty. Push the guilt aside, and focus on you. It’s going to be hard, there are going to be days where you regret your decision, but you have to keep moving. Everything heals over time, and over time you won’t feel guilty anymore. It’s going to be okay.

How to Be a Morning Person
1. Open Your Curtains ASAP. Opening your curtains/blinds brings the daylight into your room, which may help you wake up a bit easier. Especially in summer, the sunlight is bound to make you want to get up quicker, so that you can enjoy the most of your day while the sun is up.

The Truth About Being Healthy
Over the last months or so I have done five things: I decided that I'm fat. I know that 'technically' I have fat, but I feel fat. I have enough fat on places like my stomach that make me feel bad about myself. So bad that I've labeled myself 'fat'. I started following a bunch of Instagram 'health' accounts which all say a bunch of confusing things that contradict each other and use a bunch of different rules about eating healthy but I follow anyway to feel like I'm doing something right. I started trying to eat healthier. I never ate badly so to speak, but I decided that something is only healthy if there's a fruit or vegetable involved. I considered going vegan, but I also decided I love cheese too much. I tried to work out more. My job requires me to be on my feet the entirety of my nine hour shifts but that didn't feel like enough. I started doing cardio once a week and I felt jealous of my friends who had the confidence to go to the gym in the first place, let alone use any of the gym machinery. I also got jealous of those who looked good in Gymshark gym clothing - major body confidence crusher. I got a calorie counter app. I had it for three days and it was awesome and I stayed on target and it helped me feel like I was doing something good. After those three days the app told me my free trial was up and I'd have to pay for it. I deleted the app.

Thank You MCU
When Iron Man first appeared on the world’s cinema screens, I was only 8 years old. I don’t remember watching it straight away, and I can’t recall the first time I watched it, but I remember it becoming something everyone in my family was very interested in. We’ve watched every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie together ever since, and we have all laughed, cried, and celebrated along with each and every character.

Thank You, 'Supernatural'
Supernatural started in 2005. I was five years old. I didn’t discover it until I was around 14, when Supernatural had already hit its tenth season. I remember buying the first season from a ‘CeX’ shop when I was on a shopping trip with my mum in the summer holidays. I got home, started to watch the first episode by myself, and I had to stop. I found it too scary. I was creeped out. Given, I probably shouldn’t have watched it in the dark, but I put it away and didn’t touch the disk until months after. It took a while, but I finally convinced my dad to watch it with me, and suddenly it wasn’t scary anymore. After that, I kept buying old seasons and me and my dad would binge-watch the seasons together.

'Spyro: Reignited' Trilogy
At the end of 2018 a thousand childhood memories came rushing back to me when I heard the news: Spyro was coming back! The reignited trilogy was going to enable me to play the games I loved as a kid and I was so excited. I got the game for Christmas but only started playing it this last month and it’s safe to say that I am in LOVE.

Writer's Block
People always say: “If you don’t write everyday then you’ll never be a successful author,” and maybe they’re right. Maybe I’m not cut out to ever be a published author and maybe I should quit my dreams. Because, if I’m honest, that’s what I feel like doing.
