As part of National Coming Out Day on 11 October 2020, I've decided to share my coming out story with the hope it inspires someone out there.
Coming out isn't as simple as opening a metaphoric closet door, and announcing to the world about our identity—one that we've been questioning our entire life.
Sometime in 2018, I got obsessed with mobile phone photography; a friend had bought Moment lenses, and his Instagram feed was one I couldn't take my eyes off.
Growing up, my foster family had to force veggies down my throat, and I eventually fell in love (with greens) and gave willful consent to it at age 12. Ha. From then on, not having at least one vegetable side dish on the dinner table would be entirely abnormal for me.
