Dolphin Love
One of my favorite pastimes is dolphin watching at the zoo aquarium. Something about watching those majestic mammals swimming, frolicking, and playing with toys gives me such peace. I even bought a season pass so I wouldn't have to keep spending $35 every other day just to watch them.

A Surprise Delivery
"If you're just tuning in, a fire has been reported on the oil rig, named Roi, in the Gulf of Mexico. This is a US-owned oil platform, which has been in service since 1982. It sustained some damage during Hurricane Katrina and closed briefly for repairs, but has been operational since. Reports coming in from the Coast Guard are saying that this doesn't appear to be an enemy attack. It is confirmed that six crew members were on board at the time of the fire, but the safety of those six remain unknown.

I live in an old farmhouse nestled in the foothills of the part of the Appalachian Mountains that run throughout Southern Ohio. From the outside, the house looks like it's one strong wind away from completely crumpling to the ground, and that's how I like it.

I stared out over the inky blackness of the Pacific Ocean, from the rear deck of my newly purchased Moss Beach home. The temperature was a cool 55-degrees, which, having lived in the Snow Belt of Ohio for all of my life, was nothing an oversized hoodie couldn't handle.
