When I was little, my parents called me "Popcorn" because I was always "popping" up out of bed at night. By the time I hit college, I was accustomed to running on just a few hours of sleep. Back then, my insomnia felt like a superpower, giving me extra time in the day and letting me stay up all night to party or work on homework.
