The Day My Dog Jumped Into The Sea
This is a tribute to my late dog, Wags 2003-2022, R.I.P Beautiful Boy. In 2008 I adopted Wags from the Dog's home. He was a "replacement" for my chihuahua Zeke, who I had lost suddenly to a hit-and-run driver on the gravel road where I resided. His loss had devastated me; my grief was raw and time wasn't healing my loss.

The Inhabitants
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. It wasn't true for The Inhabitants, of course, it was just the simple fact that screams had never been a necessary emotion or reaction- nor an instinctual behaviour. Until The TimeKeepers had arrived, that is, and with them, their screams, fear, violence and lust for upheaval.

Rattled
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The flame flickered and swayed in the whistling breeze that slowly howled through the remains, that had once served as an elevated hunting cabin and deer blind. It had deteriorated over years of sitting in the heavily forested area, which had almost reclaimed the cabin to nature. It sat precariously on stilts, half of the veranda had collapsed. It was small but its presence was imposing, the windows staring out into the night like black, unseeing eyes.
