'The Walking Dead': Carl's Death May Save Another Beloved Character
Fans of The Walking Dead are devastated at the loss of original character, Carl Grimes—the son of the series' hero, Rick Grimes—in the heartbreaking mid-season premiere. While Carl's death is not an event that occurs in the comics—at least not yet—some have noticed that the events surrounding it are very similar to those that led to a recent tragic loss for the comics' incarnation of Rick.
8 Amazingly Clever Things You Never Noticed About 'Rugrats' As A Kid
Nearly every 90s kid loved Rugrats, the classic Nicktoon presenting. The show's nine seasons and its trilogy of movies are now fully available on DVD and iTunes, and for US viewers, Rugrats airs regularly on TeenNick's NickSplat programming block, so revisiting the series has never been easier. Star Wars: The ‘Meninist’ and ‘Feminist’ Cuts of ‘The Last Jedi’ Neglect the Enduring Theme of Equality in the Star Wars Universe
Warning: SPOILERS for The Last Jedi and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The recent release on Pirate Bay of The Last Jedi: A De-Feminised Fanedit, created by someone describing themselves as a 'Men's Rights Activist,' sent the internet into a fury. The edit completely cuts the character of Admiral Holdo, as well as the majority of scenes featuring the other major female characters. Mark Hamill and John Boyega, as well as many fans who disliked The Last Jedi, decried the anonymous user's actions as completely stupid. It wasn't long before a dorkly user rebutted the De-Feminised Fanedit with their own De-Meninised version, which cuts the film's male characters.
'Final Fantasy':The Best Guest Party Members In Everyone's Favourite RPG Series
As early as its second game, the long running RPG series Final Fantasy has featured Guest characters. These characters, unlike the player's main party members who join them permanently as they make their way through the game, only join the party for a short period of time, usually present to move a certain part of the story forward. If the character takes part in battles, they are often stronger than the player's party. Sometimes, it is the player's job to keep the guest alive until they reach a certain location. Other times, they are there to make a heroic sacrifice that pushes the story forward.

When a sequel to the 1995 hit comedy Jumanji was first announced in August, 2015, fans were unimpressed. Many believed that the timing of the announcement was in poor taste, coming close to the first anniversary of the death of Robin Williams, the much loved star of the original film. Though people began to warm to the idea somewhat, they became sceptical once more when it was revealed that the new Jumanji would be an old video game, rather than the board game seen in the first film.
Is the World Ready for More 'Monkey' Magic?
In 1979, Monkey (known as 'Monkey Magic' to many fans), a much-loved Japanese adaptation of the 16th century Chinese novel Journey To The West, premiered to Western audiences. The series quickly became a hit, and remains a cult classic. A number of remakes and reboots and twists on the story have been attempted over the years, but none have quite matched the success of the original—except for maybe the Dragon Ball anime franchise, which itself began as a loose adaptation of Journey To The West.
