Breaking Free
I had dreams for 2020. Dreams of travel, both near and far. Dreams of finding myself in some foreign landscape previously only seen on television. Dreams of stepping out of the predictability of a corporate role and into a lifestyle I created for myself.

The World's Bullying Problem
Yesterday I took a 30 minute walk around my neighborhood to take a mental break from work and self-isolation. Since I can't get a normal workout in given the current global crisis, I take walks throughout the day to get moving and let go of stressors. I plug into a podcast and spend 15 - 30 minutes learning about entrepreneurship, how to speak French, or ways to process my thoughts and feelings.

How to Get out of Debt
*Disclaimer, I am not a financial advisor. These are merely my own experiences* Being in debt sucks. You start living paycheck to paycheck so you’re sure you’ll at least meet the minimum payments. You put off necessary car repairs because you’re afraid they’ll cost too much. Your tires are far more worn than they should be, and you wear those shoes until the soles have holes.

Keys to Growing Personally and Professionally
Sometimes I feel like an anomaly. I work a 9-5, run my own business, and spend my free time learning. 32 and (Still) Single
I'm going to be straight—I'm 32 years old, and in my 32 years of life I've never had a long-term relationship. I'm not some closed-in, no-fun, thirty-two-year-old grandma cat lady (though I do have a cat). I may not stay out late and go bar hopping, but I'm up for the occasional night out with the girls, I go to concerts, hang out with friends, and travel.

Top 5 Tips For Managing Stress and Anxiety At Work
We've all been there, walking into work with a plan of action and the next thing you know you're putting out fires left and right, the phone is ringing off the hook, and "omg, this has to be done right now." Your body goes into flight or fight mode, your stomach turns into knots, and that delicious lunch you packed goes unnoticed because you just can't stomach the thought of food.

The Legacy of 'Timeless'
History Class Two words that make kids either beeline straight for the nurse's office or turn into history geeks. I fell somewhere in the middle during my school years; I enjoyed learning about history but dreaded memorizing dates and names for exams. College stepped it up a notch for me, when I could choose the history class I wanted to attend: Marx and Marxism, Music History, and Music of the 20th Century inspired the reading of nearly all of George Orwell's literary catalog and an appreciation of everything from Gregorian Chants to John Cage and Robert Johnson.
