Playing Devil's Advocate
In this series I'm going to take a prominent headline from a couple sources such as, but not limited to: Google news, Huffington Post, Yahoo, Washington Post, New York Times, New York Post, Facebook, Twitter, etc. And give my honest opinion from both sides of the heavenly gates. Don't shoot the messenger. Change starts with yourself.

Press Enter Now.
I was born September 2nd, 1974, at 2:03 a.m. My father tells me I was an only child but he's working on giving me a sibling to converse with, which is a funny way of putting it, I guess. I suppose I should tell you a little bit about my mother and father as it does pertain to my life, since they were the ones who made me after all.

The War On Chickens
WAR... War never changes... Truer words were never spoken, however... before you gloss over a seemingly innocent picture of a chicken in a coop, consider this; What did the chicken do to get life in prison? It had to be something serious. Something sinister. Something heinous. Murder. That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Serious stuff. We're in the middle of a war here people and most don't even realize what's going on! Idiots! Sheeple! Everyone just going about their daily business as if nothing's wrong... But that's how they get ya!

Truest Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving Ranking third on my list of favorite holidays, it is quickly becoming number one in my book. It's heading in that direction for a lot of people and as people get older, it becomes more and more prevalent as the most cherished holiday of all.

Paying The Change
Delbev stood close to the sight glass, watching Chalmar floating in the catalyst tank. Murky yellow fluid swirled and bubble momentarily clouded his vision. He peered closer, inspecting the body of his soon to be life partner, looking to see if he could make out specific body parts from its prior combinations.

Dark Tidings
Jessica sat, drinking her Pabst Blue Ribbon, and thinking about how much the little town of Podduck had changed in recent years. Aside from the constant gossip and rumors, and all the other stupid stuff that usually went on at family reunions, she suddenly had an epiphany. Family reunions suck. This one was certainly turning out to be a complete suck-fest. Hardly anyone she wanted to see, had shown up. None of her friends were here, not even her favorite cousin, and everyone who had shown up was... gross.

Franklin Cider Mill
The Franklin Cider Mill, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In my line of business, between running a family owned and operated business in Florida and trying to work on no less than six novels at the same time and various short stories, I find myself with little time to do anything else.

Invisible Is'ims. Sexism, Racism, Nepotism...
Racism and the "N" word. I was ten years old when I said the N-word for the first time. I was in 4th grade, and Mrs. Bridges was my teacher. She was a real hard ass and never listened to me or much of my valid complaints, but that's another story. I was your typical sticks and bones white kid, living out in the boonies. I thought I was "normal". Turns out, things got a lot more abnormal as I grew up, and then I started discovering all the abnormal that had always existed. I just didn't know what it was, until then.
