I could not stay in that house anymore
I could not take my home life anymore. My parents were addicts and in my eyes, they cared more about their drugs than their own kids. This is how I felt for many years. I would notice how we just had nothing and both my parents worked and worked good jobs some years and we never had a pot to piss in.

The scary thing we saw while fishing at night
We loaded up the truck with our poles just before dusk. Had grabbed all the bait we thing would do the job and headed out to the lake. Our local lake is only a five-minute drive from our house. Then backed up to the water and inched the boat and trailer into the water. I had never gone night fishing before, and there was no dock at this lake. I had to go in the dark water to guide the boat off the trailer into the water. Even though the sun had not set, the water was not clear by the bright sun overhead. It was dark and cold.

The Girl Everyone Disliked in High School
Life was not easy for me. I somehow grew past all the pain, the hate, the depression, the humiliation, the anger, and the hate. I could go on with all the feelings that I had growing up as a teenager but I think I got my point across. This is the hardest story I will ever have to write. I may be 20 or more years past this time in my life but, bringing up all this pain and emotion is not something I ever want to do. I just would like to forget.

Cancer is Hard on the Whole Family
Since I wrote about my father I thought I would write about my mother and all the struggles she had to overcome. My mother was born into a normal middle-class family. She had struggles just like many of us growing up. From the things I heard and the mental illness in the family, my grandma made things hard for her and her sisters growing up.

Back in December of 1998, there had been a bank robbery by Timothy Blackburn. This bank robbery remains the largest amount taken in the state of Nevada. 1 million dollars. On the night of the bank robbery. The cleaning crew had been held up by two masked men. They drove to the bank and parked where they would normally park their van every time they clean the bank. They ordered the cleaning crew to clean just as they normally do and waited until an armored truck arrived with the night’s cash pick-up. After a standard security protocol, they call the alarm company makes sure there had been no weird alarms that had gone off. Only reported the cleaning crew inside. Once the vault had been opened up the masked men disarmed the guards and take the shrink-wrapped 1 million dollars.
