There’s an interesting concept I thought of the other day. We go through life, and from the day we are born, we have an assumed label. The thing is, I don’t think we understand what that means for us.
One of the hardest things to accept in life is the fact that everyone who walks into your life plays a role. This role is specific to them, and you really don’t have much choice over what role they play.
With a simple Google search of "follow your passion," you will find something that I can’t agree with. Some of the headlines:
Yesterday, I went to a baseball game. It wasn’t any typical game; it was so much better. The thing is, it was better even though it didn’t have all the hits, home runs, RBI’s, and that game-saving catch. Those players and the community of people that surrounded were not something that you’d find at every game.
There’s a problem that some of us have to go through in our lifetime, and that’s the fact of having to live with this simply complex contradiction: simultaneously loving freedom, and loving love.
