Michelle comes home from a day of Christmas shopping. This Christmas would be one that would be forever embedded in her memory. When she walked in the house, she could hear what sounded like female voices coming from the living room. She recognized one of the voices being that of Antonio's Mother. Could it be? She told Antonio that his Mother wasn't allowed in their home. She bypassed the living room, and headed straight to their bedroom where Antonio was going through his drawer in their dresser. She was so disgusted that his Mother was there that she didn't say a word to Antonio, but instead left, and went to a nearby phone booth to call Antonio. When she did not receive an answer, she went back home. This time she peeped in the living room, because she heard what she thought was speaking in tongues, which is a language members of a particular Religious group to communicate with "source." She would soon find out what was really going on.
From the very beginning, Larry told Michelle that he felt she was dangerous... a beautiful, intelligent, free spirited woman, with a positive outlook on life. What he didn't see was her incompetence and selfish approach when it came to any type of relationships.
Michelle had finally opened her eyes, she finally saw Chase's worth, and was FINALLY ready to put in the work for their relationship, but she was one second too late, and time wasn't on her side... simultaneously, Chase had given up the fight for their love for good, forever. However, Chase didn't wanna hurt Michelle. Her eyes were about to be wide open...she was about to experience the worst pain in her entire life. After all, how long did she think she would be able to go about love the way she did? Selfish, a spoiled mentality like the world owed her something... something that she wasn't even ready to reciprocate, because the first man in her life didn't show her love... her biological Dad. That's what she was ultimately searching for... she was a little girl trapped in an adult body looking for her Dad in every relationship... looking for love in all the wrong places.
Chase found himself on the bus, heartbroken and headed to a roach infested, weekly rate hotel, which he would call home for the next four weeks.
So much knowledge to be gained because wisdom is power... but! right before power is pain...
Why does it take us losing important people and significant things in order for us to appreciate them?
