Finding Grandmother
When Frank Arrived at Millie's house, he was just in time. Every neighbour was trying to get a good look at what was going on. The local rag was also there trying to get a story for the nightly news, and all were being held back by witches.

Finding Me
I begin this story with one of the darkest times in my life. It was an incident that made me alter the entirety of myself. Life hadn’t been great, I had an abusive mother (Bio-ma), an abusive husband, but when I was not around either person, I knew who I was. I was a happy person who loved life. I escaped the mother by running into the arms of the husband, and I escaped the husband by accepting he might kill me, and I was all right with that, but I got out alive, and the person I was when I was no-where near the orbit of those people, came to the fore and I lived, loved, life.

The Witches Trap
A white light falls over Tasmania, like the webbing of a million spiders protecting, shining, turning to silver beneath the light of a waxing moon powered by every witch near and far. From across Australia, they gathered in Zoom, by phone and by word-of-mouth. They combined their magic with their Tasmanian sisters under siege before they woke Millie.

Shadow Jumpers
Horrific screams fell from the sky, waking me from a deep sleep. There was a flock of Corella's passing over the house, and they were carrying something… it was hidden in the darkness and had hitched a ride. An uneasy, otherworldly odour filled the air and I leaned from my open window to see if I could see what it was. That’s when I saw them, shadows. They looked like shadow’s dancing their way to the ground.

What’s in the Fog?
It had been an odd few weeks since the fires. The girls had been staying with their aunt during school holidays, and strangely, Sandra was participating in Millie’s magic lessons. Aunt Millie was teaching them protection and warding spells, and the coven had detected something old surrounding the girls. They were also unsure if the Dybbuk had been, could be, killed.

I love my Job Because…
I love my job because I work from home, but it is not work in the strictest sense of the idea of the culturally accepted notion of work. I am a PhD student. My work entails adding to the greater pool of knowledge. I still get up every day shower, dress, and prepare to leave for work. By 9-am I make my way into a special studio my partner/carer built for me and take my seat on a comfortable high-back chair, that reclines as I need. Then put my feet up on a matching footstool for added comfort and workability.
