Costume Crafting Diary 1
So after a day of marathoning Rachel Maksy videos (I highly recommend her videos, by the way, if you are into costumes or history bounding, you will not be disappointed), I have decided that September 3rd is the perfect time to start prepping for Hallowe'en! A Little Bird in the Boughs Above
Hi folks, so this story is actually an extract from a novel I have been writing on and off for over a decade! At this point, the chances of it getting published are pretty slim, but when I saw what the challenge was for this week it came to mind and I decided to give it an airing! Of course, after ten years my writing has changed a lot, hopefully, it has improved, so I wrote a newer version that I hope you will like!
Their utter lack of concern was infuriating, Sheffield decided. He was a man of importance and carried dark words with him. They should be quaking in their silk slippers! Sheffield looked across the desk at the two sisters, "And what if I were to tell the local people that contrary to popular belief, it has been you with your hand on the rudder of the estate?"
Tiny hands were wrapped around my bicep. I groaned. She shook harder. "Maggie it is the middle of the night!" I whispered.
