5 Things Guys Will Never Admit To
Guys are funny creatures. Where women wear their hearts and emotions on their sleeves, men have a tendency to keep feelings and habits more hidden. I am not trying to stereotype at all, I am just speaking from my 34 years of life and the many men I have grown up with and met along the way. It could be something as silly as admitting to watching chick flicks to something more personal like how often they cry, but either way men rarely offer this information on a platter for all to know. It's hard enough to get basic truthful facts out of some men let alone possibly embarrassing personal confessions. Well guess what my lovely male specimens, Jus L'amore is here to enlighten the women of the world of the adorable little secrets you hold so close to your heart.

10 Things No One Told Me About Life After Marriage
I once heard the secret to marriage is to never hate each other's guts at the exact same time. While this may sound harsh, after so many years of marriage, it's true. Sure, hate may be a bit extreme but deciding to live day in and day out, create children, and grow old with another human can be difficult at times. OK, it can be damn near impossible at times! What starts off with endless kisses and laughs, romance, lingerie, and intelligent conversations turns into quick texts, sparse dates, scheduled quickies, and if you're lucky, undergarments that are in the same color palette.

15 Embarrassing Things Women Do Behind Closed Doors
If only our friends and family knew what we did in the privacy of our own home and behind closed doors. There are times when I do something that is so strange, even though I am completely alone, I still blush with embarrassment at the thought of getting caught. However, even though I often think, "I wonder if other chicks do this," I know with certainty I am not alone. Everybody is weird in their own right and all people have bizarre habits, most that will never be admitted. Perhaps this article will make you feel better, as in you are not alone in your peculiar ways, or perhaps it will have you cringing in guilt and shame. Either way, you are not alone.

Both Sexes Answer: What Women Want in a Man
That’s right, my peeps, it’s time for another Jus L'amore experiment. Recently, I discussed Top Male Turnoffs for Women, which illustrated five of the worst traits a man could possess according to women. Now, it's only right that we delve into what women DO find attractive in a man. However, this time I wanted to switch things up and survey males as well as females to see if men have any idea of what turns a women on. So, with the help of 50 men and 50 women, ranging from their late twenties to mid thirties, I conducted my first What Women Want experiment.

7 Signs Your Girl is Cheating
Damn man, I really hate to be the one to deliver this bad news but someone has to do it. You know that wonderful girlfriend of yours, the one with the great sense of humor, perfect-for-you body, and nurturing attitude, the girl you thought would never do you wrong? Well what if I told you your suspicions of her recent shift in behavior weren't due to her supposed "increased work load” or “monthly female hormones”? What if these latest changes stem from a change within her and her wants and desires aka her desire to be in bed with someone other than you? Would you confront them or turn a blind eye? Are you, as a man, equipped to realize when the woman you thought you knew is no longer that woman but rather a liar and a cheater? Sorry dudes, I told you this might suck.

The Truth Behind Men Who Fake It
Women do it all the time without crucifixion, yet when a man admits to faking an orgasm he is cornered and questioned like a criminal on the stand. How, why, and when are just a few of the issues most have with this uncomfortable and taboo topic. We find it almost impossible to believe that his scrunched up face, stuttering moan, and whole body convulsion could have actually been an act, a perfected theatrical masterpiece! Not that a man isn't capable of such trickery, but let's be honest, when men lie, they keep information and expression minimal. So unless this man is a professional actor, I can't imagine him being able to pull this off, however, it turns out I'm wrong. Like 28% of all men, wrong. Granted this a study done where men had to confess, but still just the fact that it is more than 2% was enough to blow my mind.

Cheer Up This Holiday's Travel with Car Games for the Kids
Holiday season involves good food, fun times, and long lost relatives and friends. Visiting these loved ones usually entails hours of traveling thanks to distance and traffic and traveling means a lot of time spent in the car. I can see it now, stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic with anxious children who are close to death-from-boredom while I hold back my car sickness and my husband argues with the 100 cars surrounding us (they can’t hear you, honey, give it up).

A Mom's Christmas Fantasies Vs. Christmas Realities
Ahhhh, the magical feeling of the holidays. A time where all you want to do is snuggle up with your loved ones under your perfect Christmas tree and count down the days till Christmas morning. Also, in this fantasy I am wearing a gorgeous Christmas sweater, size 6 jeans, and have two children who hug and love each other and say things like "please" and "thank you." Not to mention my tree is freshly cut from the forest looking more like a Pottery Barn ad than an artificial Home Depot pine decorated with glued macaroni and picture-less frame ornaments. I like to call these visions my “Santa pipe dreams.”

5 Problems I Never Expected in My ThirtiesTop Story - November 2017
We all know I suffer from P.P.S. (Peter Pan Syndrome) but even so, I have never denied the inevitable. The fact that as time goes on and I grow older, everything changes. Not just my skin and body but decisions, beliefs, and desires, too. Don't get me wrong, years ago I remember hearing the age 34 and thinking, EW that's old, like Monica Gellar old, but I honestly thought my active life and youthful attitude would keep me young forever, or at least longer than other people. I didn't expect at this age to not be able to get out of bed without a groan and moan from a herniated disc. I also would have laughed in your face if you told me that I would be worried about crows feet and laugh lines. I thought that crap happened at 50, not 34! Yet here I am, Googling Groupon Botox deals and doing modified gym routines so I don't aggravate my lower back. Now that I think about it, maybe it was my active life and youthful attitude that caused half of these issues. Perhaps, I had too much fun and all my years of wide smiles and loud laughter have been too much for my face to handle, and maybe the years spent dancing till dawn wore my body down before it should have. Regardless of the cause, for some issues it’s too late or not without a hefty price tag. So just go on without me because I might as well get myself a walker and adult diaper now.

How to Look Good on No SleepTop Story - November 2017
Women are good at faking it, we all know this. We fake confidence, we fake “having it all together” and of course, on occasion, we fake it in the bedroom. That’s not where the pretending ends though, after a night of no sleep, whether it be from a cranky baby or a late booze-filled night, we are sometimes forced to fake a well rested and motivated game face.

Things My Mother Told Me That Turned Out to Be True
Oh, Mommy dearest, how often did I doubt you. Not only did I think I was the smartest kid around who knew better than any adult, but back then I truly believed that everything you predicted and advised was wrong. From the boyfriend you assured me was bad news and the shoes you said would kill my feet to the bigger things in life like being a mother, a wife, and an intelligent human being, almost everything you said had some merit to it. That's right, Mom, you aren't reading this wrong, I am here to say the three words you so absolutely deserve to hear: YOU. WERE. RIGHT. Of course, many of life's lessons I had to learn on my own and I do believe that's how children should, but there are those few pieces of wisdom and experiences you lived through that you shared with such strong persuasion that I should have listened to. Here are just a few.
