Adventures with my camera Part 1
I really enjoy photography, and, while I'm not that good at it, I still enjoy photographing the beauty of nature. The greatest enjoyment I get, is photographing our property. Because we live out in the rural sticks, I'm always finding interesting photo opportunities. For example the photos down in our canyon are really breathtaking.

Auburn Maiden
Gemavore: a mystical female being that has the powers of the leprechaun. Except, unlike the leprechaun, this being is given the utmost respect. She has the ability to bring prosperity, wealth, and countless other good luck vibes to any place she ends up in.

My interpretation of Double exposure Photography
I've always thought that double exposure photography, done with either Coreldraw or Adobe Photoshop, was really neat. And so I really wanted to do it myself. Yet, I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to purchase either one of these two graphic design programs. That's where GIMP comes in. It's a free drawing/graphic design program. Just what someone, like me, needs who either has no or little amounts of money in the bank.

The Tale of Assassin Kitty
The Tale of Assassin Kitty Hello, my name is Mr. Fergun and my servants are being very disobedient towards me. They won’t let me come in when I meow, and they throw me out the door when I twitch my tail. This is because I want to spray and show all these other intruders, I live with, who’s boss. They need to know that this is my home, and not theirs.

The Tale of Beastie
Our cats, Mr. Gold and Beastie, are always having such interesting arguments outside my bedroom window. Mr. Gold's favorite past time is to hang from my screen and argue with Beastie about why it's important for him to come in. I imagine what their conversation(s) consist of, is who belongs and who doesn't.

Two Children Stories Together
The Girl Who Wore her Shoes on the Wrong Feet My little sister Clare is really weird. She believes that wearing her shoes on the wrong feet is like walking in someone else's shoes. What do you expect, though, from a five year old. Even though my mom tells Clare that her feet will turn into duck feet. She shrugs it off and says, “Well, that would be nice.”

Auburn Rose
Auburn Rose The day that Auburn Rose arrived in Greenock, Scotland was like any other day. She wore a dark magenta wig that covered her balding head, and her eyes reflected both empathy for others and the anguish born from the throes of pain following chemotherapy. From just looking at her, the people of Greenock knew that she was sick, but none of them wanted or had any idea on what could be ailing her. So naturally they were afraid, and treated her like she had the plague. Yet, even though they didn't want to have anything to do with this sickly woman, they felt that the only way to rid themselves of her was to make her someone else's problem.

Pipi Thistle Butt Head's Fun Day at Home
Our cat Pipi, is really sweet and loving. Yet, when it comes to her curiosity and mischievous nature, she has a hard time not getting into trouble. I think if we had a camera, throughout our entire house, this story might or could be the kind of trouble she would get into if left home to0 often...

Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolate Surprise Fudge
Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolate Surprise Fudge Here's a recipe that both my mom, who's not a real chocolate lover like myself, and I real love and enjoy. Instead of buying Halloween candy, try making this instead.

Escaping
Joanna had never planned on leaving, she hadn't imagined that one day she would return home to find her husband had left her; having stolen their joint possessions and money. Even their house had been put on the market and sold. Most women would have been angry and vengeful, but all Joanna felt was a strange sense of whiplash as she tried to figure out what to do next. The only action she could take, after seeing that all her worldly possessions had been sold right out from under her, was get in her car and start driving. As she drove away from what supposedly wasn't hers, she couldn't help looking back at her house; this home, which had been more a prison than anything else...

Soul Mates
Soul Mates The day that she divorced her husband and left the glamorous, yet, utterly dismal existence that she knew, was indeed a life changing experience. When she arrived in Quentin, she hardly had any money and the town's people knew not who or what this strange woman was searching for. So, because they weren't very accustom to strangers showing up on a whim, they sent her to Lord Coarsen's; knowing quite well that he would reject her.
