Disneyland UK?
It is regarded as “the happiest place on earth” and for over 60 years hundreds of millions of guests have experienced the magic of Disney. Across four countries—China, Japan, France and unsurprisingly the USA—there are twelve theme parks with only five styled as the iconic Disneyland.

In Defence of Royal Reporters
As a journalist, I understand how hard it is to follow a story, to collect the information, decipher what is true and false, and relay it to a wider audience who earnestly hang onto every word you say or write. Sometimes, however, parts of that audience decide to question what is reported, and that is perfectly within their right. After all, we live in a democracy where freedom of speech is not only valued but protected.

A Distant Whistle
With sheer excitement, the anticipation was palpable. The faint whistle sounding in the distance was slowly followed by a plume of white steam rising behind the bare winter trees. The platforms of Pickering Station were packed. Children held aloft on their parents’ shoulders, all wrapped in thick coats, woolly hats, and gloves. The crowds stood on their tiptoes, leaning to glimpse the approaching steam pillar. That eagerness was rewarded as the Black Five Steam locomotive chugged into platform one. The awe and wonder—as this majestic machine came to a halt—was bathed, alongside the dispersing steam, across every child’s face; including my own.

Battle For Brexit
In 2016, on the eve of the Brexit Referendum result, Nigel Farage stood before the Press declaring that he felt Leave had lost the vote. He concluded that he, and many other campaigners, had done everything they could to take Britain out of the EU. Even hardened Brexiteers, Boris Johnson and Co. felt the same, as unlike the Remain campaigners, no party had been organised in case of victory.

A Heart in RuinTop Story - April 2019
“Walking at random through the streets, we came by chance upon the Cathedral of Notre Dame. I shall long remember my first impression of the scene within. The lofty gothic ceiling arched far above my head,, and through the stained windows the light came, but dimly–it was all still, solemn and religious.”
