Code 8 | Movie Review
At the beginning of the week I decided to have a bit of a movie marathon while I did my weekly blog writing. Anything to help ease the boredom of lock-down and encourage me to stay focused and stimulate any imagination. This was one such movie that I wanted to give a go.

Love, Wedding, Repeat | Netflix Original Movie Review
Like everyone else in the country, I was scrolling through Netflix in the hopes of finding something new to watch, helping me pass the time during this weird lock-down that we're still in. Thats when I stumbled across this rather strange looking Netflix original, Love, Wedding, Repeat.

"Tiger King" | Netflix TV Review
After multiple friends and even my sister badgering me to watch this show I gave in and decided to binge watch the entire show. Of course with the current lock-down helped me binge watch the entire show in one sitting. Sat here writing this (the next day to be exact), I'm still trying to decide how I even truly feel about this bizarre documentary; but lets see what comes out of my head as I write this.

Lockdown: Week 2 - Flair of Anxiety
2020 has got to be the weirdest year I've gone through. Most days this week (starting: 30th March) I've been thinking about how unbelievable this all is. It just doesn't seem possible that something like this is happening all around the world. Its starting to feel more and more like a bad dream, something this worldwide just can't be possible.

Self-Isolation: Keeping Yourself Sane
So in England we're coming to towards the end of our first week in lockdown of most of the country. For those who can work from home or aren't part of essential companies/services we're confined to our homes. Rules have been put in place for our own safety that ensure we stay inside; we're only allowed out of our homes to one short period for exercise or to get shopping if there is no other way of getting it to your home.

Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back (Evolution) | Movie Review
So as a pretty big fan of Pokemon I was pretty excited when I heard there was going to be a new Pokemon movie. However, I was aware that it would be completley revamping the animation of the classic movie Mewtwo Strikes Back. It was safe to say, my excitement was bolstered even-more, I absolutely love this movie, so I knew exactly what I'd be doing on my Friday night.

Doctor Who
Doctor Who is a British sci-fi show that has been running since the 1960s and it follows the adventures of an intrepid explorer who travels through space and time. What has kept this show fresh and different is the protagonist's ability to regenerate, giving the show a chance to bring in new actors and take the show in a different direction.

Am I Good Enough?
This is the first time I've ever written anything so personal that will be made public in this way. So, lets dive right in I guess. For as long as I can remember I've had issues seeing value in myself. Whether it was how I looked or my personality it has been hard for me to be comfortable with who I am.

England Has Fallen
True to form I find myself thinking about the state of the country through a rather melodramatic lense (hence the movie inspired title). In my mind I see a country ripped apart by politice and social confusion over what is best for the country; the old fear the young for the violence they create, while the young hate the old for draining the countries economic resources and helping to destroy the environment. The rich get richer by ensuring politicians remain in power and protect their assets, while the poor are left to rot in the streets, while the rest are told to solve the problem themselves. Then there is the never ending dispute over how people should live their lives: "be proud of who you are", but "don't be too gay, straight, white, black, old, young, sexually ambiguous, prudish..." and the list goes on. Although thats a very bleak and narrow view of the overal state of the country, it isn't incorrect.
