Saying Good-Bye to Jenna Marbles
Many years ago, back when I was still in High School, I found myself getting involved in the YouTube community that I heard a few friends talking about. Before this I hadn't really paid much attention to it, only using it to watch music videos from my favourite bands. It was during this first foray into the mad and hilarious world of cat videos and people attempting to play video games, that I came across a hilarious woman from America, Jenna Marbles.

Not One but Two Great Friends: The Birth of the Sexy Tri-Pod
University was a very strange time for me. It was a goal that I was striving to accomplish throughout my time at school, I had finally completed this great educational goal. However, my personal life had been shot to pieces. I was entering this big new world with very little confidence in who I was and what I wanted from life. It even got to the point where once I was finally at uni I wasn’t sure I could make it through the three years in one piece. What brought me back from the edge was meeting two wonderful people…

Schitt's Creek | Netflix Original Series Review
Recently my boyfriend and I went to visit a friend for a socially distanced catch-up. As we bombarded each other with all the stories that we'd been unable to tell each other the past few months we finally got onto what we'd been watching on Netflix. She made us aware of Schitt's Creek, a comedy show she was currently going through for the second time. It instantly took my interest when we watched a few clips, then made even more interested when she mentioned that each episode was 20 minutes long.

Cottage Pie: Simple, yet I can cook, thats all that matters!
My relationship with cooking is a very strange one. On the surface, I don’t cook that often, instead my boyfriend will take on the large portion of cooking that goes on in our house. It is this part of me that finds cooking too time consuming and inconvenient (which makes no sense when you need food to live).

Sexuality, and the power of a celebrity crush.
Oh, celebrity crushes! Whether it is someone you’re willing to brag to your friends about or a guilty pleasure that you keep private, they’re great for the odd day-dream whereby you can pretend to be married to them, living the life of luxury.

Ben Platt: Live from Radio City Music Hall | Netflix Original Movie Review
When it comes to Ben Platt, I have always admired him and his work since seeing him as Benji in "Pitch Perfect". Then I was in complete awe at his voice during his starring role in the hit broadway show "Dear Evan Hansen". Finally, I fell in love with his artistry when he released his debut album "Sing to Me Instead" was released. Therefore, I was fairly excited when Netflix announced it would be releasing one night only recording of his Radio City performance, the final on his album tour.

2036: Origin Unknown | Movie Review
So, I may have spent one day just watching ridiculous sci-fi movies where world threatening disaster that couldn’t possibly happen, happen. From this fun day long venture I was brought to the latest sci-fi movie added to Netflix, 2036: Origin Unknown.

Geostorm | Movie Review
During a time of crisis you would think that disaster movies would be the last thing anyone wants to watch right now. For some, this may be true, for me I find too much pleasure in watching entirely unrealistic scenarios threaten the safety of the world. It’s weirdly thrilling!

Time Trap | Movie Review
Much like many other people in the country at the moment I've been making my through the many movie options on Netflix (its been a great way to pass the time during lockdown, I'd recommend it). So, I've always been a big sci-fi fan and enjoy most sci-fi movies that come out, which is what brought me to the many sci-fi movies that Netflix has to offer and in particular this movie.

Contagion | Movie Review
So I guess it was finally my time to watch this all to appropriate movie for the times that we're currently facing. There had been weeks of articles and tweets about this specific movie, around how close to reality it really was. I believe there were even scientists comparing the actions taken in the movie with those taken the past few months.
