Book Review
One for the Money is a riveting yet hysterical book about a young woman named Stephanie Plum. This is the first in a series of a total of twenty-four books. This first book tells her story of how Stephanie lost her cushy job she once had, is going through financial troubles, and is forced to move back home with her parents. She loses her car since she can no longer make payments, so she is forced to borrow her grandma's car to find a job. She seems down on her luck and is running out of money fast. Her mother is the one who sets up a meeting with Stephanie's cousin, Vinnie, who owns a bail bonding company. Her mother hopes that in setting up this meeting with family that Vinnie can give her daughter a job. Stephanie has tried to get jobs elsewhere, but with no luck, she is forced to go to this meeting with her cousin for a possible job. The big problem is that Stephanie knows nothing about being a bail bondsman.

Coping with Stress
Stress is one of the leading causes of heart failure, depression, anxiety, and many other ailments. So what is stress? And how can we better cope with it? Stress can come in many forms and often hits us when we least expect it. Stress is when you feel overwhelmed with situations or if you are in financial trouble. There are many types of stress factors that can lead to other health issues if a person doesn't manage to cope with their stress in a healthy way. The most common types of stress factors are financial, physical, or emotional stress. Financial stress is one of the most common types of stress as a lot of people deal with struggling with finances and paying all the bills. It is common to get in a place where the bills just keep adding up and the finances seem to be getting thinner and thinner. Another common type of stress is physical, this includes health problems both physically and mentally. A physical or mental health issue can cause more stress as there is a lot to worry about when dealing with certain illnesses or disorders. The final most common stress factor is emotional stress, which comes from being in a bad relationship and feeling trapped, going through hard times with family, or stressing out from the current career path you have chosen.

Having a Preteen
I think that having a preteen is harder than what most people would think that it is. I know in my experience having a preteen can be quite a challenge at first, especially if you have other children who are younger, but after a while a parent gets used to the changes. My oldest daughter is going through the early stages of puberty, so she is still not sure what to expect and is often upset or confused by all these changes. I am thankful that she has me to talk to about these changes that are going on with her and that I can guide her through the process. I know that at the beginning stages of puberty, there is a lot of confusion, a lot of questions, and a lot of extra things that have to be purchased in order to help your child through it all. It was an eye opener for me when I started having to buy my oldest daughter face wash for her acne, deodorant for her stronger body odor, and training bras. It is a long process of dealing with changes, not just for the child going through it, but for the parent as well.

The Legacy of Grandma Margie
The Legacy of Grandma Margie There are a lot of people who can look back at one of their grandparents with great pride and joy, and for me it is my grandma Margie. I think I felt the closest to her out of all of my family. She was a true treasure, was always there when you needed her, and made sure you always had something to eat. My grandma was very nice to all those she met, she was very accepting of changes in our family, and never put anyone down. She lived her life the way that she was meant to, full of life, full of love, and full of respect for everyone around her. I remember growing up, how excited I would be to visit her, because she always made me feel so special. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special, feel like they belong, and she never favored one person over the other. My grandma was a strong lady, compelled to do good, to love with all of her heart, and help those out that she could. I feel so close to her even now as a single mother of three beautiful girls. She always did say that I had a fire in my eyes that meant that I would keep fighting for what's right no matter what. I cherish the talks we had still to this day and remember a lot of the advice that she gave me.

Comfort Food
What is comfort food? Well that may seem like an easy answer but there is much more to it than the obvious answer. We all know that the meaning of comfort food is food that makes us feel comfort, peace, and relaxation during hard or troubling times. We all know that this comfort food can make things seem better, even in the worst of situations. What we may not know is the differences between the comfort foods and what comfort each one can bring. For every occasion, there seems to be a different comfort food that we turn to. Also, everyone is different, so there might be some comfort foods that we didn't even know existed. The overall message of comfort food is that our bodies crave certain kinds of foods during certain points in our lives so that those foods will send a message to our brains releasing endorphins. We all know that endorphins can make you feel better and more relaxed, so if that's what you're looking for, you need comfort food.
