I've Seen Many
Pittsburgh would always have the coldest nights! Here I was, in town again and after a long day's work; the evening caught me again having a late supper. A Primanti Sandwich would go good with a beer, but not the favorite choice for my calories and such a late hour. Indecisive of my dinner, I started to scan the room for a perfect seat to hide from the flow of locals and try to blend in. However, my eyes ran into sight that I know many spoke about. A sight that many will tell others and they wouldn't believe because wonders aren't seldom mentioned in these parts.

Rental and Subrogation
Let me start of by saying that if you have an auto policy and you depend on your vehicle for daily commute or transporting someone to school or anywhere else, rental coverage is a must unless you have a car you can use while your primary vehicle is down. Secondly, if you have rental coverage on your policy, please make sure the coverage is enough to replace the vehicle you drive during your rental. For example, if you drive a Large SUV like a Yukon EL; please understand that $30/day might not get the job done. See your agent soon!

Auto shop Estimate vs. Insurance company Estimate
I want to stress an important step in the repair process when dealing with insurance companies. Again, the information I am about to provide should not be taken personal advice to aid or provide any solution to your personal claim that you are currently having, had in the past, or will have in the future. It is highly advised that you consult an attorney and/or a Public Adjuster for any details surrounding your personal loss regarding your auto repairs.

I met "Comeback-Joe"!
Far from a 49er-fan and I think that if any of you appreciate football, you will love the story I am about to tell you. Before I get into my story and "close encounter" with Joe Montana, let me give you some of my experiences with some of the NFL's greatest players. Please let me highlight that the collection of individuals I came in close contact with was all about being at the right place, at the right time.

The Sun left a mark on my Heart
Encapsulated is the true essence of beauty! There she stood, as graceful as a Nancy Wilson song and with poise like Diahann Carroll. Such a gem to behold as I look at her as if I am Indiana Jones trying to heist a precious artifact. For no one can tell me that wonders and miracles still exists. For if the Sun never shinned again, I am now satisfied and seeing another just won't do.

He walked with Her!
It was the little things that matter because he knew through the test of time, those little things would not change. No one can buy consistency. No one can purchase the way he look at her. There is no careful thought in the natural process the way he picked flowers for her. The most prestigious schools in all the lands could not teach him how to speak to her. Money couldn't replace the time he shared with her. His walk was solid and he did sway from her heart.

Some say I look like Mike Tomlin
I cannot believe how many times I was mistaken for the Steelers Head Football Coach, Mike Tomlin. My sister Connie would beg to differ, but I tell you that when I use to dye my beard and have on my classic Pittsburgh Steelers hat, people use to stop me at least five times a week. I once made a bet with an old friend that I at least five people will stop me during a weekend in Pittsburgh for a game we planned to attend and every time some one stopped me, she would have to pay me two dollars for each person. Well, we never made it to Pittsburgh and I wanted to test my looks to see if I could actually pull it off. In my early years, I was often mistaken for Omar Epps, to when I walked in a store at the Phipps Plaza Mall back in my Atlanta days, a woman start screaming when she saw me (no cap). I will tell you the few times that it happened, and I had fun each time it occurred.

You cannot Hide
I sit here sadden to the news that I will have to attend a future meeting with something I prayed that could have stayed off the radar for as long as possible. For I knew her day would come and surface her ugly and shameful face within my close close quarters. Yeah, by all means I have face her in many versions and cannot remember the first time I had to deal with her directly, but I will forever remember the time my kids saw her ugly face for the first time.

My Carolina Blue Jordans
In my complete lifetime, I think I owned about 4 pairs of Air Jordans. These were my favorite pair, but let me tell you a story. The year was 1996 or so in the heart of Atlanta, GA. Times were cool and I was roommates with my closest brother, Spencer. During those days he use to model his game after Derrick Chievous. I could be totally wrong on the name, but "The Cheese" is what his co-workers would call him. Derrick's NBA fame never panned out, but he was a great college standout.

The Cost of an Accident!
Well let me take care of the disclaimers before I dive into some need to know points when filing a claim and dealing with adjusters. I don't know represent one specific insurance carrier or agency. Nor am I a Public Adjuster which can represent a private party or a specific company during the claim process. Any use of this information that I provide today is solely for the use of guidance and should not be used to interrupt a personal or company lines insurance policy, nor to support coverage in any manner of any existing policies that provided coverage in the past, present or that will provide coverage in the future.

The Power of the Pen
The power of the pen is actually more dangerous than a word that slips from someone mouth. Yeah, anyone can use the excuse that they were in the moment of passion when those words slipped. However, when pen meets paper, there is a clear thought and the communicated message, positive or negative; should have factored some consideration before presenting.
