All we have to do is be open to seeing them, to hearing their messages, and to think about their significance.

The theaters were filled and there was jump scares to spare as people found their inner "oh shit" and "holy crap" moment. Paranormal Activity, made for less than fifty-thousand dollars, scored one of the biggest and most impressive returns on an independent film in the history of the business. Since its release, it's spawned a movie franchise with the most recent Paranormal Activity coming out this Friday, October 29th, 2021. If you're not watching Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin on Paramount plus, perhaps revisiting the original is in your plans. It's definitely in mine.
