Why Isn't More Self-Care Paid To Our Foundation
Our feet take a pounding. Good foot health is more important for active lives than people may understand. In the foot, there are 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, ligaments, and tendons. What that means, is that your feet are not only important but extremely complex. After all, they serve as the foundations of your structure. Your feet are the beginning of your day when you crawl out of bed, and how you treat them affects your support, posture, balance, and overall well-being. Mistreating, or just being ignorant of the needs of your feet, can lead to increased problems with knee pain, hip pain, and lower back pain.

A Way For More Things To Be All Sunshine And Roses
Why is the world so completely screwed up? It's not that bad. It just feels like it's headed in the wrong direction. It's the 21st century, and humanity hasn't learned much from the past. Some may find that assertion disagreeable. I challenge them to look into the past and see all the mistakes mankind has made, and then have repeated them.

In July a 100 Mile Wide Comet's Coming To Visit Our Neighborhood
We’ve all heard of Haley’s Comet. If you don’t remember what a comet is, they’re essentially a galactic boulder made of frozen gases, rock, and dust that orbit the Sun. Frozen, they’re the size of small cities. When the orbit of a comet gets closer to the Sun, the comet warms and spews dust and gases into a giant glowing head larger than most planets. We then get the experience of seeing them fly through our solar system, hopefully not getting too close to our world. If one did, it would be catastrophic.

There’s a range of reasons we need to use renewable energy. The most simple of which include that they are more environmentally friendly and won’t deplete the way fossil fuels might if we don’t slow down consumption. That’s the “good” of renewable energy.

Are The Lights About To Go Out
The star at the center of our solar system is a dauntingly giant, red hot ball as it is. It’s been acting up more and more, as of late, as our sun approaches the end of its solar cycle. As the end of the Sun’s eleven-year cycle approaches it has been an especially intense time, with nearly daily reports of forming solar storms. It’s the emergence of sunspots, and the unprecedented growth of one, that have space weather experts going to red alert.

Don't Go Into The Woods
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Dad always told the same story on our first campout of the year. It was about the old cabin sitting on the west end of the property line, tucked away in the middle of the woods. It was just an old hunting cabin. Something mom assured me of when I went to bed. Dad loved to tell his stories, trying to scare us when we were young.
