Now that we're in the Golden Age of superhero movies, it's easy to forget how lucky we are. Just 20 years ago the closest thing we had to an interconnected superhero universe was ... that Thor and Hulk crossover thing from 1988. After the success of X-Men and Spider-Man in the early 2000s, things finally started looking up for the genre. Until both franchises released their disappointing three-quels, which shut down their respective brand for a couple years.
When it first came out, no one could have predicted what a cultural force Netflix's Stranger Things would become. The heavy use of 80s nostalgia could only garner attention, not genuine interest. But coupled with a talented cast, strong writing, and visual flair, the show became a hit with most demographics. In the comics, Jessica Drew was a former agent of HYDRA who accidentally killed her partner and lover. After learning of HYDRA's true nature, she joins SHIELD. Her powers include super speed, strength, durability, stamina, agility, wall crawling, venom shooting, etc, all thanks to a genetic experiment on her by HYDRA. Now, let me tell you how she should be introduced:
My mind is exploding as I type this. Today is a day to be marked in the history books. We have confirmation on the Suicide Squad roster and cast. The Joker will be returning to the big screen with Jared Leto. The Flash-Arrow crossover happened. Connor Hawke is being set up. And Slade Wilson is coming back. Let's start off with the known stuff:
Okay so today we found out that Jena Malone has a confirmed role in Batman vs. Superman, but we don't know who. Well, let's look at the few clues we have:
