Sarge My Beautiful Boy
I saw this challenge days ago and my instinct was to shut my laptop, let the sadness fester for weeks, and return to it, at a later date. Well, the later date is now and I have two hours to deadline. Procrastination, one of my greatest features. This one has lived up to the word "challenge" as this may be the most difficult and beautiful article I have ever had to write.

For me, I travel through time and space through music. Music is my time travelling companion. The force that opens the portal. It is and always has been music. I am able to be moved from here to there most easily through what I hear. Music is how I travel through time. Music is my first love and my last love. I have had many loves in between where it started and where it will end, but it always has been and always will be music for me. My one true. That and Jesus, which goes without saying but I should say it. Considering Jesus loves music. "Don't be a prude- not when it comes to music" is something I think I have heard him say....

Alive on the Train
It was true that she received much more than she was ever to have known. However, it was not her fault, she had received this innate gift of perception that extended far past the realm of what others known as intelligence. It was not as if she asked for this awareness. An oppositive life she lived, equally as stagnant as it was dynamic. A never ending back and forth, living up to what she knew she was capable of while attempting to live up to what society expected of her. And yet, to the outsider, she remained unchanged.
