I don't normally scroll Tik Tok. I have a business that i'm starting, so I don't have time for it. Although, on facebook one day, this Tik Tok video was on my feed. It's a parody of one of my favorite vines. It's a reminder of my best friend and I. How much fun we have. Of course, I'd be the one singing. I'm normally the one who would turn up the radio and say, "I know you know this song! Listen!"
Iconic duo, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis have a classic way at humor in their early movies. A different generation, but humor that reaches all ages. Martin was known for his charm, good looks, and his smooth Italian singing. In the movies, he was the guy who always got the girl. Lewis was the comedy relief. He had that high squeaky voice that played Martin's silly buddy.
September 9, 2017 was the last day 19 year old Kenneka Jenkins ever saw her loved ones. It would also be the day she took her last breath.
Everyday I see people say they fight to get up in the morning. How do they fight? Mentally, Emotionally? I agree. I do the same. But I realized that there are things in life you actually need to fight sometimes. Your struggles, your depression, your anxiety. Everyday people will face bullies in their school or workplace. People put you down because they are not happy with themselves. You stand your ground and look them in the eye. You often imagine the bell ringing in your head and you hear, "Round 1".
Photography is an art all within itself. I love to stop and snap pictures of things that are "out of the ordinary." On this special day, I was off to work on a beautiful cool country morning. Living in a small picturesque town where everyone knows everyone. A regular small town, USA.
For a long time, I was weak. If life got me down, I'd stay down. I tried to pull myself up using the ropes, but it continued to beat me. I would wonder why I wasn't good enough, why I wasn't smart enough, or strong enough. The days kept coming and I would just continue to feel sorry for myself. Feeling as if I will never take over my life, the way other people have.
