A Cure For Immortality
She was the shape of innocence when Proteus first laid his eyes upon her. Two-feet tall with well-rounded cheeks and golden ringlets scattered across her head, she was dressed in a pink t-shirt and denim overalls. There wasn't much of her to begin with, but her tiny stature was dwarfed even further as Proteus approached, his body assuming the giant shape of the child's worst fear as he pushed the forest's foliage aside.

A Crowded PlaceRunner-Up in New Worlds Challenge
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say... Ominous words to start the episode with, I know, but they're words which are often pondered upon by many here in The Line, as well as by many others, I'm sure, listening in from other colonies.

Remembrance
I notice three things when my eyes open. The first is that I'm laying on the floor of a train carriage. It's difficult to make out my surroundings because the lights are all off, but there's a faint glow emanating from the windows that's lightly illuminating rows of dusty old seats around me. They're bolted to the floor, guarding the aisle in which I lay like battered soldiers; worn, but undefeated.

Vocal Memes for Established Creators (Part III)
Ok, so I'm still working on the inspirational quote about life and lemons in the subtitle. It's been a work in progress ever since the first instalment of Vocal Memes for Established Creators, but we'll get there one day. Until then, you'll just have to put up with my half-baked inspirational quotes (sorry). Perhaps I should stop trying to rip off Dale Carnegie, and make an original quote, but then again, memes are almost entirely based on satire and unoriginal jokes, so it's kind of fitting in a way.

A Love Letter to Iced Lattes
To my dearest Iced Latte, My sweet, tender love. It’s been some time since we last spoke. Too much time, perhaps. Yet your gorgeous shades of brown, delicate curves and icy embrace are still so intricately engraved into my mind, and I shall forever cherish the memories of those warm summer days we shared together.

Varkodia: The Blessing of a Curse
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Then again, a lot of things weren't always as they were at that point. For starters, I didn't always have frog hands. Every morning, I would wake to disappointment and see a set of glimmering, slimy, green fingers precariously plopped onto the edge of my damp palms. It was hard to look, but I had to be sure they weren't just something I'd dreamt up. They were not.
