I Have Covid: Day One
Well, it has finally got me. I thought I had lasted longer than my luck should have held out. But in all honestly, I hardly ever left the house until recently unless absolutely necessary. Then tonight, when I went to pick my husband up from the train station, I began to feel rotten. Sore, achy bones and muscles. Shivers and inability to get warm; Not to mention the dry, achy eyes and lips. I came home and told hubby I would lay down that it had been a long day.
It's Never Too Late To Go Back To School
There is one simple truth when it comes to education and learning; you are never too old. We learn from the moment we are born until the moment we die. So, if anyone tries to imply that you are too old to go back to school, they are wrong.

It’s in Every Smile You Give Me
I have lived in trailers and fancy houses, been from one end of this world to the other. But nothing warms my heart or brings me closer,
3 Steps to Good Parenting
No matter how many how-to books are published, there is no actual guidebook to being a good parent. So in this article, I'm going to share three simple things that are part of what makes a good parent, well, good.
Lament of Age
I didn't want to get up today, but the alarm rang anyway. I thought you were my friend Alexa? But you still betrayed me in this way.
It's Not a Real Job
Traditionally, women did not work outside the home. Wives took care of the children and home. The men would go out to their offices or manual labour and slave away at their 40 hour weeks. Well, that's how suburbian life is portrayed in the movies. The reality of it all is drastically different. There are no 'normal' these days. People work from home, abroad, or where ever they can pick up a job. I'm working right now, writing this article. The point is, there is no right or wrong in how we do our jobs.
