Suicide Squad Cosplay Guide
Anti-heroes have become increasingly popular and Suicide Squad is following the momentum of Deadpool and Kick Ass. The blockbuster transforms iconic DC characters like the Joker into skewed criminal masterminds who are manipulated into deadly black ops missions (like breaking into Arkham Asylum, with the ruthless government patsy Amanda Waller serving as their gatekeeper). “I want to build a team of some bad people who I think are capable of doing some good,” says Waller, in the third trailer for the movie.

New Generation of Star Wars
When George Lucas unleashed Star Wars in 1977, he created a whole new generation of sci-fi fanatics from the Baby Boomers who’d been weaned on sci-fi serials. In many respects, George Lucas had managed to synthesize everything he’d loved from the old pulpy serial shorts from the 1940s, like Flash Gordon, while combining it with elements from the samurai films of Akira Kurosawa and World War II fighter pilot movies like The Dam Busters and 633 Squadron.

Remembering Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy
Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy once said, "Spock is definitely one of my best friends. When I put on those ears, it's not like just another day. When I become Spock, that day becomes something special." Commemorating the life and work of Leonard Nimoy could not be done without admiring his accomplishments, as Spock and otherwise. Nimoy passed away on February 27, 2015, from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at the age of 83. Seemingly inseparable from Star Trek with his role as Mr. Spock, the superrational Vulcan-human, a role Nimoy portrayed for over 40 years, the actor also was a successful poet, author, director, photographer, and music artist. However you remember Nimoy, his career will remain nestled in our memories until the last galaxy flickers out of existence. He embodied the driving tenet of his counterpart, Mr. Spock. Nimoy "Live[ed] long and prosper[ed]."

Star Wars Sith Video Games
This is the time to seize power. There’s no better way to visit a galaxy far far away than to play some of the best Star Wars video games. Sure, popping in your faded VHS copy of A New Hope for the seven billionth time might be one way to revisit your favorite characters, but video games offer a more interactive experience and there are so many great Star Wars games to choose from. But if there’s one unfortunate thing about most Star Wars video games, it’s the fact that most of them force you to play as the pathetically weak light side of the force. For aspiring Dark Lords of the Sith, this is completely unacceptable. Sure the dark side of the force might offer experiences some would consider to be...unnatural, but only through indulging in these darker impulses can one master the dark side of the force to gain true power within the digital realm. With Star Wars: The Force Awakens the grip of the dark side appears stronger than ever with the Jedi order virtually exterminated and Luke Skywalker MIA from the galaxy at large. What better way for all aspiring disciples to practice their force chokes, sharpen their red lightsabers, and power up their force lighting by playing our list of the best Star Wars Sith video games.

Sci-Fi TV Series to Watch Right Now
Cerebral sci-fi TV series were a welcome addition to a decade of questionable fanfare. From AMC's Into the Badlands to Syfy's hit Dominion, sci-fi series explored the post-apocalyptic future that seems to excite sci-fi fans. Guillermo Del Toro upped the ante with The Strain, and Halle Berry in Extant is by far the hottest sci-fi woman of the 2000s. If you have not yet, binge on all of these great sci-fi TV series.
