Finding the Right Brush
There are all types of people in the world, which means there are all kinds of hair in the world. With that in mind, finding a hairbrush to suit certain hair, is almost as big of a challenge as finding the right shampoo and conditioner to use. Like the world is made up of many different hairs, of all different cultures, there are many kinds of brushes in the world. The most commonly used brushes in the world are the paddle brush, the vented brush, and of course the ceramic round brush. Not to mention the Aero pick, most commonly used with Afros-type hair.

Disney Plus: Redesigning the World of Marvel
While last year, we got the gem that was the Mandalorian, Disney Plus, which has been revolutionizing the way we look at Marvel. For years we have gotten film after film of an interlocking story that eventually led to Thanos snapping his fingers and destroying half of the world, including its heroes. We have been given great wonders and heroes and heroines to look up to. Even faces we never expected to be depicted on the screen. I don’t think anyone could have expected Marvel’s second phase to be better than the first, with the loss of the three members that put the Avengers on the map. Tony Stark, Captain America, and Black Widow were legendary heroes, and it could be argued that while they saved a lot of the world, they were also flawed individuals. We have waited almost three years, if not longer for The Black Widow’s solo story, that we still haven’t gotten. We all watched her fall to her death, and we know that we will see more about her in the future Hawkeye film, but I don’t think anyone was fully ready for WandaVision.

The Art of Scales
The world of the Horoscope is one that has been viewed in both positive and negative ways. When we are born we are assigned a star sign and an animal in terms of the Chinese Zodiac. These give us information on who we are as a person. While not always accurate, sometimes it gives the world a way of showing us who we are. I was born a Libra. According to my star sign, I crave balance in all things. Which isn’t wrong. I like my work and life to be balanced, I feel lost when obstacles are thrown in my way, or when my routine is changed. According to the Chinese Zodiac, I am a Snake. Known as a vain proud creature. Which I have no problems with saying that is a hundred percent accurate. I am a proud, passionate creature. A creature of habit.

The Evolution of Telling a Story in Film & TV
Filmmaking and Storytelling is a work of art. As an author and a child at heart, I’ve always loved any marvelous storytelling. The essence of a good story is marvelous storytelling. Making the fantastical come to life. In novels, this is done through words, both descriptive and telling. In Film and TV, the basis of keeping people to continue watching a show is epic storytelling. Now a day’s films are often done in trilogies, and in order for those movies to work, it needs to have a story that people want to continue to watch.

The Eyes Have It
The World of beauty is one that is full of history. Eye make-up can be traced all the way to the days of Egypt where Kohl was created to make lines above the eyes to decorate the royals. In the Egyptian way, this use of makeup was a way to emulate the gods. In fact, if you look at any of the depictions of gods and goddesses of Egypt you will see the modern cat-eye look across all the olden depictions. It isn’t just Kohl that has been shown across the centuries in the world of makeup.

My Journey in Cooking
Cooking has never been my strong suit. There I said it. I come from a long line of established home cooks. Cooking is in the blood so to say, as we are all West Indians. As a rule, West Indian's are always in the kitchen cooking a vast amount of dishes almost all of them on the suicide side of spicy.

The Journey between Enemies to Partners
To be on the losing side of a war, hatred, and prejudice must sometimes be put aside in the hunt for a way out of what seems like a hellish circumstance. In the Third movie of the original trilogy of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain Barbossa and Elizabeth Swann are the least likely to partner up against the judgment of Cutler Beckett, and yet as the movie unfolds you see a sort of kinship spark between the two that were once enemies of the worst sort. Proof that war makes the strangest of alliances, in times of need.

The Lore of Calypso and Davey Jones in The Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy
Growing up, one of my favorite movies of all time was the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. I grew up with Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann being my heroes and aspiring to be just as genius as Captain Barbossa or Jack Sparrow. One of my favorite stories within the franchise is the idea behind Calypso and Davy Jones.

How Spotify has changed the way I listen to Music
The World as we know it isn't a musical. People don't erupt into song when someone catches their eye. Or the world doesn't immediately become gloomy and rainy when your sad or accosted by heartbreak. Thankfully music companies have made it so we can have these soundtracks available to us no matter where we are in the world.

Quest for the Ultimate Playlist
I wish I was a soprano or even a musician. Someone who has magic at their fingertips. Alas the only magic I seem to have is the ability of the written word, and writing fiction has always been my favorite pastime. People often think that writers have to get into the mood to write, but with how long I've been writing, I know that the opposite is true. There's always a story at the tip of my tongue or fingertips. I have been known to weave a tale during Christmastime for my nieces whose favorite pastime is getting me to tell them a story. Or to look at a quote online, a writing prompt, and immediately have a fictional story with a believable middle and end, if not beginning.

The Black Book
The scent of lavender permeated the air, making Abby suck in a deep breath. She had always loved this garden, or she had before she was ever born. She was still trying to get used to the idea that she had lived a whole other life she barely remembered. Not that, she had really all that much of a good life now. Not compared to Caroline and her suspicious inheritance. She stood on the bridge looking down at the water that was a bright violet color, everything around was bright purple making Caroline's blonde hair stand out all the more.
