Chapter 11 - Bad News
Amelia sat at her large oak desk, right outside of Frank’s office. He had offered her an office of her own two doors down from his, but she had politely refused. Everything was already set up the way that she wanted it here and moving everything would disrupt her efficiency, costing valuable time that they just did not have.

Callidore
This is a VERY hard choice to make because I am an avid reader of both sci-fi and fantasy and love authors such as Pierce Brown, Brandon Sanderson, and Terry Mancour. All of whom do an excellent job of bringing their stories and the worlds that they have created to life. However, I feel that Terry Mancour’s world in the Spellmonger Series is my favorite.

Chapter 10 - Finding Carl
It had been nearly two months since Lena had started working with the robotic engineers. She had helped Kim finish the IntelliBots’ coding and was now helping with Simon’s nanite-swarms. The swarm that they had just finished had multiple applications for use in radiation shielding.

Chapter 4 - In D.C.
The flight had taken the better part of four hours. Most of which, Lena and Carl spent sleeping while the Professor went over the data and added notations. Lena felt better rested as she awoke at the pilot’s announcement that they had finally touched down in D.C. When they descended the steps from the shuttle-jet, another black Valiant Q7 was waiting for them.

Chapter 2 - The Director
Frank looked over the data his old college professor had sent him. This was bad. A cloud of asteroids were coming from the direction of the Epsilon Eridani star system and were heading on a collision course with Earth. If McNeil and his student’s calculation were correct, not even Luna would be safe from impact.

Chapter 1 - Discovery
Beep! Beep! Beep! The red light blinked rapidly as the ATS system sounded a warning in the auxiliary control room. Dr. Carl Ranson looked at his comm, it was 12:13 a.m. and he had been studying the outer asteroid belt surrounding Epsilon Eridani. The system was so much like that of our own. The first exoplanet discovered in that system was Epsilon Eridani b in 2000, which orbited its star on the far side of this belt. Since then, astronomers have found two exoplanets that orbited between the inner and outer belts and one of those was within Epsilon’s habitable zone.

Chapter 8 - Choosing
Frank swiped through the potential candidates for the migration’s command staff. Two weeks ago, after President Simmons had made a global address, the UMC had placed him in command of the entire project. He was only required to keep the members of the UMC Council appraised of the decisions being made through weekly reports and take their advice under consideration. They all understood the necessity for quick and decisive action and knew that conflicting demands and a democratic process would take up precious time that they did not have.
