Sex Tips for Men: How to Be More Sensual in the Bedroom
I've been with the same man for six years. Let me make it clear I know what I am talking about here. In the six years I have known to be with this guy, prepping myself for sex or getting me in the mood is not his specialty. I am perfectly fine with it. At least I can give him a few points in the right direction for him to try again the next time. Once he knows what I like, believe me, it is a whole lot better the next time around.

A Father's Daughter
I'm going to admit something very big. I was a daddy's girl. But then I grew up. Dads are so important for little girls, it shows them how a man is to treat them, how they are loved, and sets up relationship boundaries that help them prevent getting stuck in the most unsuccessful kinds of relationships. It also means that they have a friend and a life coach.

My Periods After Stopping Birth Control
I have been on the pill for five years, the same amount of time as my current relationship. But I have been wanting to get off them for nearly two years now because I was with the same boy since college, moving in with him, and now currently engaged to him.

My Favorite Pop Culture Quotes
Everyone has some sort of quote or favorite movie line they enjoy reciting by heart. For me, quoting from pop culture is something I enjoy like performing my own modern Shakespeare adapted play. It is something witty and shows the capacity for someone to be colorful and spontaneous in life.

Florida is one of those states where it's sunny all year round. There's memes and jokes about some of the stupid things that happen in our state or the weather. People who live in Florida deal with snowbirds and yes our attitude is a bit dickish, but we have Disney and no one complains there.

A Letter to My Partner
My partner and I have been together for five years. It took me two years to open up to him and actually trust him. Sometimes we fight, other times we simply hang together and just enjoy a nice drink or two reading or playing games together.

A Letter to My Sister
My sister and I may not have been the best of friends growing up, but after being in college for a while, we may have made some progress over the years to be better friends than enemies. I know it is hard for siblings to get along when they are young, but making sure they are there for each other in times of relationships and life struggles is something every sibling should partake in.

No More Abstinence Education
Do you remember asking your parents about where babies come from? Did you ever hear your mom say that you came from her tummy? Did you ever watch cartoons or hear your parents talk about a stork that delivers babies? I'm sure to assume that most of the time you asked about sex or wanted to know about how reproduction happens, you were sheltered or shut down because you were so young and couldn't possibly expect to know about it. When parents do this, it's ignorance on their part to assume that the child will grow up to wait and have sex when they are married. But what they don't know is that this child will hide from their own parents they are sexually active, that they look up porn on the internet or that they read about sex and how it's performed. It's a form of abstinence education in the home that needs to stop. Instead of helping a child pursue the love of their own bodies and being informed on adult choices they would be making later in life, we're leading them down a path that could end in more STD's and STI's being transmitted or worse, pregnancy.

My Menarche
I was 11 when I just started my period. But the problem was, I had no idea that I was having one. It happened at my grandma’s house. We were waiting for my parents to come home from an anniversary dinner when my grandma had me and my sister wash up for bed. She had my sister use the bathroom by the kitchen and she had me use the one near the office. She handed me a fresh towel and waited at the bathroom door to take away my clothes.

Tatas or Nadas
Everyone latched onto their mother's boob at one point in time. But while some states allow breastfeeding to be publicly protected, the stigma is something that should be removed as well. Huffington Post published an article last year that said states like South Dakota and Virginia exempt woman who are breastfeeding from any public indecency charges or nudity violations. 47 of the 50 states allow women to breastfeed in public without any exemptions. But yet while those states allow public breastfeeding, there are some people who want them to do it in a spot where the boob and baby are out of sight.
