Gregory Dolan Dies
Bio
I’ve been around the block a time or two but due to a bad left hip I never get far, I just keep walking in circles. I’m an old rusty merry-go-round that will leave you cut and in stitches.

Mother May I
She was a brunette Barbie Doll, all five foot two and one hundred and five pounds of her, but she had ways about her that would scare the devil out of her four children. She passed in December of 2019, before the onset of the Covid pandemic, which looking back was a good thing, she was eighty-eight and living a great life in an old folks home, having lost dad ten years earlier.

Crime Waves
Crime Waves In a down economy the duo watched as their fathers struggled to feed their families, money was tight and they always thought there had to be a better way. “Fuck me running T, if it wasn’t for bad luck we wouldn’t have any luck at all”. Dolan was red faced and visibly upset, nothing the two of them had planned had gone accordingly and the last thing he wanted was to spend time in the hoosegow.

One Legged Butt Kicking
So to my knowledge Mater Dei never had a female football player, nor a player with an artificial leg, my last year there, I got both, on one team. I was flummoxed and was unsure how to handle this group, and with no one to turn to I leaned on myself, which by the way makes walking difficult, and made up my own rules.

Dogs Rules vs. Mans
Most of us were taught the same rules by our parents, look both ways before you cross the street, say please and thank you and treat people the way you want to be treated. Sure we all had to be home when the street lights came on and answering the home phone was always a test “Dies resident, Greg Speaking”, this was long before I became Crack Egg. And every one of your parents friends were Mr. and Mrs. whatever. Those rules carried me through until I started school and then the rules started adding up.

The Long Con
Regrets are for those who haven’t tried the wealth of opportunities we have extended to ourselves daily and these can lead to embarrassing moments, but a flushed and blushing face is always worth taking a chance. I was twenty five when I had my first baby, actually my wife at the time had her, but I did my part. I’d never been around babies, I was the first in my family to have one, so I’d be doing a lot of firsts, but I have to say changing a diaper scared the shit out of me.

Free Kegs
Somehow one of us had met a young lady from Buena Park and she invited us to a party at her girl friends house. Vince/Vinnie was driving his Subaru Van, it was the width of a golf cart and had a motorcycle engine driving it. Vince was driving with Bubba riding shotgun and their shoulders were touching. We had to take a few freeways so Vinnie had that engine winding at almost sixty miles an hour, considering the crowd inside and the size of the van that was nothing short of amazing.

It’s Not a Tumor
Of course this started with Katey, as the oldest she was always the first. The kids all went to Vegas for their 21st birthday and there was some memorable moments and one that I’ll never forget. I remember Kelly’s well for Dan ‘the man’ Valentine and I had stopped at state line and I hit a $1200 winner on a Wheel of Fortune slot. My girls then took full advantage of their inebriated dad when we got to Vegas and I woke up with one five dollar bill in my pocket, thanks ladies.
