It taste good
"Surprise!" My family had held a not so surprise party for me, which I knew about it for a few days. I tried my best to act the part, but my love ones knew me well enough to know that. My wife came up to me hugging me as my two kids followed. "So how did you find out? Who spilled the beans?" I pointed to her grandmother who had texted me the invite by accident.

Beacon of hope
I have a fear, more of a phobia of insects. So when they began to increase in size rapidly I should have died out of pure shock value. They easily were able to breed and increase in numbers and size till humans quickly became overwhelm by them. No place was safe from them except for the skies. Humanity now live in low orbit which through out the ages we expanded and adapted to it.

Humanity Hope
I traveled alone since it made it easy to move on the surface. Humanity was able to thrive, however it was underground where the sun no longer reached our eyes. The few that did travel above ground, such as myself, tended to die young. As for me I survived going out for thirty years spreading my tale to those who listen while selling my secrets to those who payed.

Green owl
I lay in wait for the inevitably return of the green owl souring through the night sky. Shining brilliant as it illuminates the small area around with a warmth that makes the sun flower rise. The owl stare pierced me as we locked gaze. Unable to move trapped in a moment of time that none could understand.

Buried
As thought seem to escape my mind as I plummet to my certain death. My back towards the what ever lies beneath me as my view of the sun is darkened by the raging storm above. I have no clue how I ended up in this predicament yet that matter not no longer as death is but a moment away.

Cost of a life
Not much could shake the man who experienced most of the world underbelly. He saw the worst of drug and human trafficking. I once saw him calmly face a tiger when it somehow found it’s way into our back yard. While everyone scattered in fear he kept the tiger’s attention while keeping it at bay with a simple baseball bat. Fear was not a word that his family and friends would associate him with. However as I watched my closest friend break down when he recived a package containing a million dollars I was confused at first. He held a black book in which the context was not in any language I ever seen, which I have seen my fair share do to my profession.

Dream Forest
I lived in my own little world compared to those around me. People tended to avoid the guy that they considered to be weird. Not many people tried to communicate with me and those who did left me quickly whenever I spoke out my own truth. The only friend I had would listen to me no matter what I said or did. I decided to name my friend Ralph since that was my name as well. Our friendship was innocent enough since I did all the talking and strangely being a wild animal Ralph never did fly away. In fact he continued to come back everyday early in the morning.
