Netflix, being one of the most successful streaming services around the world, has added some of the best anime series. Sure, classics like Naruto, Death Note, Bleach, and Fairy Tail can be found on Netflix, but those are everyone's "classic" favorites. But if you are looking to watch something a little different than the Shonen classics, there are a couple of awesome anime series on Netflix. The top five animes of Netflix that are mentioned here are not from a personal point of view, but rather from majority vote. Hence, this is what other Netflix viewers think are the top five animes on Netflix.

Top 5 Romance Animes
February usually makes us think of love; therefore, I wanted to add some new romance anime recommendation to the many, many lists that are available online. So get cozy, grab some chocolates, and your sweetheart (or your cat, dog, or hamster if you are single, no shame in that) and get ready to watch some of the top five (in what I think) romance animes. Two of the suggestions on the list are still airing, and therefore, season 1 is not completed but don't let that stop you, dear reader, from enjoying these great love stories. 'One Punch Man' Season 2
It has been three years since the first season of One Punch Man was released. Wow! One of the most awaited anime series took three years to release a sequel. Why the long wait? Well, more likely the cause of it has been a change of production company. From the teaser poster above, the graphics are very notable, but yet pleasing to the eye. This is One Punch Man we are talking about; therefore, it is bound to be just as good in graphics, design, and an incredible plot line.

'Fruits Basket'
Social media is buzzing with the most recent anime news, the remake of the anime Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket, the new adaptation, will be released in 2019. The previous anime series had been released back in 2001, with only 26 episodes. Natsuki Takaya, the creator of Fruits Basket, began the manga story back in 1998 (yes seems like a billion years ago) all the way to 2006. The first anime series back in 2001 did not finish the entire manga story and stray away from the original manga story. However, it has been announced by Funimation that the new 2019 series is bound to cover the entire story. This is big news for the followers of the famous shoujo manga because never has this manga been covered entirely. Hopefully, this means the storyline will not be drastically changed by the production team. Fans are obviously excited about the news since this is one of the most successful shoujo anime/manga of all time and the entire story has never been covered. Fans may be excited over the big news; however, Natsuki Takaya feels indifferent over the big news.

'Pokemon: Detective Pikachu'
What do Ryan Reynolds and Pikachu have in common? The level of cuteness? Hmm...maybe. Or rather that Ryan Reynolds is the voice actor of the first Pokemon action movie. As a fan of both Pokemon and Ryan Reynolds, my otaku heart couldn't take it! However, it is set that the Hollywood hunk is behind the voice the extremely adorable Pikachu. The upcoming film is set to come out in May 2019. Below is the official trailer of the movie, check it out.

'Konosuba'
Alright, here it goes. There will be no season 3 for Konosuba, that's right there will absolutely no season 3. What most consider to be one of the best comedy/fantasy anime of all time, will not have an upcoming season. But that is alright. Why? Because there will be a movie coming out next year! Even though there will not be season 3, fans can expect a movie to hit the theaters in Japan next year. It was expected that right after season 2, there would be a season 3 but that is not the case. Could this change be because of a different producing company that has taken over? Possible. Who knows! But what we do know is that a movie will be coming out. The first official visual artwork has been published (the artwork above). There has been no official date of the month and day of its release but there is still plenty of time for that!

Feeling down in the dumps? Bored? Depressed? Stressed? Don't worry we all have been there, and there are days we just need to watch a little something funny to pick us up from those blue days. The good thing is there are plenty of funny animes to watch when you are feeling down. 'The Disastrous Life of Saiki K'
There are no words to describe how hilarious and entertaining this anime series is, it is truly a gem of all gems when it comes to anime comedy. It brings forth so many characters that are strangely odd, yet fascinating so it is no surprise that Netflix launched both season 1 and season 2 this year. After all, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K was a huge success in Japan, so it comes as no surprise that it became a sensation when it hit Netflix for the American viewers.

'Fairy Tail' Season 9
Finally! October has come and with it brings many, many amazing animes that premier this month. Among one of them is Fairy Tail's last season, or better known as season 9. It has been a long-awaited season and with it the story wraps up of our favorite guild members. Many fans are aware that the manga has finished and the new spin-off was released this summer in the continuance of the last manga chapter of Fairy Tail. Just because the manga has ended does not discourage fans. As a matter of fact, many fans have been in an enthusiastic uproar of the new season.

'The Seven Deadly Sins' End
Disbelief. Shock. Those were the first reactions to the news of The Seven Deadly Sins manga ending soon. It has been one of the most loved and awaited animes of 2018, yet the manga will be ending in roughly a year. The creator of the manga, Nakaba Suzuki, recently expressed his desire to end the manga at 40 volumes in about a year's time. This means the manga does not have much to go and is bound to have an ending worthy of a shonen as described by Suzuki.
