BTS Island: In The SEOM
BTS may be on hiatus but this doesn't stop them from releasing a brand new mobile game that debuted this summer 6.28.2022. As a BTS fan, I was pretty excited to try out a game that had a lot of input from the members. It was exciting to know that a mobile game would come around this summer and I was attracted to the extremely adorable characters. Personally, I find the characters to be a main reason why I chose to play the game, because they are visually pleasing to look at. From the first impression, I can say with confidence that the graphics are adorable and gives the player a sense of calmness. By calmness I mean that the graphics and Suga's 'Our Island' video game soundtrack ring a cord with the graphics. Suga produced the song for the mobile game, and boy did he do a really great job at it. The soundtrack gives the listener a sense of calmness that matches the theme of a tropic cool island. Dearest audience, I believe we have found the diamond of our season. That is none other than Spy x Family, the comedy action packed anime that has stolen the season! Let's face it folks, this series is packed with action, comedy, and a really well thought out plot. However, for it to be so successful I believe it carries a very unique trait and that is family.

BTS: Flying Solo
Alright ARMY, let's take a moment to digest this bittersweet news of BTS taking a break from the band. BTS announced that they will go on a temporary break from performing and making music together. Though it may sound a bit sad to many fans, it doesn't have to be bad news at all. Each member in the band is highly talented and each individual wants to be able to create something incredible in the music industry without the band. This is completely understandable since the boys have been together since 2013, when they debuted as rookies. Now, 2022 has come and the boys are no longer rookies but rather superstars that have sold-out massive stadiums, broken world records, spoken at the United Nations, and also used their influence to speak out against hate crimes in the United States.

It is no secret that Kyoto Animation, the producing company to Violet Evergarden, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and A Silent Voice, received an arson attack on July 18, 2019. The attack resulted in the death of 35 people and roughly 33 other persons injured in the fire. It has been roughly one month since the victims, and the victims' families and friends have had to cope with the loss of loved ones. Amidst all the pain and mourning, Kyoto Animation will once again continue to work towards making beautiful animation despite the loss of my dear ones.

Well, let me tell you, it is a shounen gem that has the potential to become one of the greatest shounen there is yet to be seen. For my fellow otaku and geek lovers, we know that's tough to come by especially if the anime must live up to the legends such as Naruto, One Piece, the Dragonball franchise, and the recent My Hero Academia. However, Demon Slayer is not like other shounen of its genre that begins with an aspiring young boy wanting to be a hero, a Hokage, or finding a couple of dragon balls.

'Yuri!!! on Ice'
"Yes, we were born to make history!" sung by Dean Fujioka in the opening song of Yuri!!! On Ice, which truly 'made history' in 2016. I doubt the singer at the time knew how well the anime would be received almost three years ago. Yuri!!!
