Miracle Babies-2022-Precious Things Vol. 2
What is most precious to you? We often overlook what is most precious to our hearts. External forces can block our minds and hearts As a species, we have many mental walls we erect, which keep the important stuff in the back of our minds. We must stay conscious of this and bring it to the forefront. When we experience a miracle, we must talk about it. Perhaps I'm a little late writing about this, but it must have needed time to come to a boil. Always, better late than never. The Twins are a miracle and deserve to be revered as such, My sassy little miracles.

Manster or Mon? Part Four
Feeling as if you're stuck as a shambling corpse yearning to go beyond our current situation. The necrotic tissue still clinging to us, asking us not to change. Stay as you are. Don't change. Barks the pieces of flesh, forever stuck in complacency. Life only works if you work it. Stuck in a rut for far too long. We must proverbially "Shit or get off the pot." Do I stay or do I go, now? He must be willing to risk everything for peace of mind. To never try is to damn yourself from reality. Don't ever trade your thoughts for others. Too much do we search for others veiled validations for virtually no reason. If you never have faith and are unwilling to change uncomfortable situations, your movements will be that of the living dead; Slow, stank, decrepit, and driven only by hunger.

Manster or Mon? Part Three
Mountains reach the sky. A man is ever-changing, like a young mountain. He wishes to meet great heights. He conspires to rise to the top of the mountain. Climbing to live, not just to climb. He would ascend to the heavens. Ascension of thought and progression. If it's a man's world, I don't want to be king. Man would reach the stars and never look back.

Manster or Mon? Part Two
A high horse have we sat for quite some time now. We've built our own mountains. Never believing we would fall off. Sometimes we got up. The other times we did not get up. No matter our status in life, we are the kings of our own minds. We have always thought kingly of ourselves. Existing in ever-shifting roles of importance and nonsensical ramblings. One day we are kings. The next we sit with monstrous intent. Truths slow-dripping down our sides. Through our minds. My resolve is forever unwavering. Like the mighty oak, I stand tall. The wind has to go around me, it will move only for the Gods.

Manster or Mon? Part 1
Manster or Mon? It doesn't just sound funny. It's about the towing of the line between being a man and a monster. We usually try to avoid monstrous thoughts and feelings. Having a severe mental illness diagnosis has me teetering on becoming a monstrosity. Schizo-affective disorder leaves one feeling as if they alternate from one personality to another. Reality seems to be ever-changing. Thoughts and feelings shift at the very whim of a haunted man. Often feeling like Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde. In this case, Hyde is being quite cheeky. So, I play along. Man to the monster is often no small feat. Though it rarely happens overnight. The other times we don't just break a sweat to swim our way out of regret. Trying to make that a saying. It's a thing!

Creepshow (TV Horror Series 2019) Part 1
Creepshow The TV series, was a delightful treat when it was annouced. All kinds of ghouls and boils rejoiced when the news broke. The new show would air on the streaming service Shudder. At the time, I had never heard of of the streamer. My knowledge grew as my anticipation for the show grew. All I really knew about the service was it featured an assortment of horror, supernatural, thrillers, and suspense films. I had grown tiresome of Netflix and other services barely offering horror in the general sense. Libraries always felt empty. Shudder, now just reaching over 1 million subscribers is set to grow into its own powerhouse. Slowly growing up its power and influence. I've gone out of my way to subscribe to Shudder right before it turns into its own force to be reckoned with, owned by AMC. This is the scary uncle in the dark corner during the holidays.

Blood Vessel
Wicked of Oz productions and Co-Writer/Director Justin Dix delivers a well made low budget WWII horror flick. What set's this cheekily titled Blood Vessel apart from other micro-budget films? This film drips in ominous atmosphere. The set department, costumes, and special makeup effects turn this little vampire flick into the film that could. The visuals drip with dread and salt air. These are all seasoned filmmakers and they take everything they learned and turned a tiny budget into a fantastic little beast. This flick has teeth, figuratively and literally speaking. Justin Dix has leant his practical makeup effects, props, miniatures, animatronic characters and set pieces for feature films and television work. They've produced work for films such as Star Wars Episode 2 and 3, Charlottes Web, The Loved Ones, The Bank Job. They've been attached to nearly every Australian Horror Film in the industry. They've also worked Dying Breed, Wolf Creek, Red Hill, Rogue, Lake Mungo, The Babadook, and Scare campaign, to name a few. Filmed in Melbourne Australia. I live in Melbourne, FL and have accidentally joined more than a few Melbourne Australia message boards. I digress.

Cooties
Cooties, I nominate you for Underrated Gem. Seeing a few promos for this film over five years ago, I was intrigued. I didn't exactly keep up with the release of this little picture that could. This film completely slipped under the radar in 20015, except for Sundance and video on demand, to which it had minimal success. My need to watch this film came stumbling back to me as I found it on Peacock Streaming of all places. Finding this horror comedy at the right moment in time, movie day was set in my house. Completely forgetting this film, after its release. Happy to say this little flick packs a wallop of horror comedy and forever adds to the genre of killer kids films. Part zombie bottle movie. Part satirical improvisation sessions. For a movie from the Co-Creator of Glee and the writer/actor from Saw, this film is mostly unseen. The pairing of these two really shines as modern Leave It to Beaver style meets the characters of Glee, by way of zombie apocalypse.
