The Science Behind MDMA and Electronic Dance Music
Eight years ago, my would-be husband and I were sitting at a bar in the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. We were casually talking about EDM, electronic dance music, and an upcoming music festival we wanted to attend. Out of nowhere, the bartender cut into our conversation with,

"Crazy" Not To Love.Top Story - April 2021
Living in Bremerton, WA you get at least six months of a rainy grey filter on your life. In spring, when the sun finally breaks through the clouds to warm your skin it is magical. All you want to do is spend time outside. The streets, and trails, are suddenly littered with people ready to take on the PNW outdoor lifestyle. People walking, riding their bikes, hanging out with their furry pals, and people eating. There are, admittedly, tons of “mom and pop” local places around town to grab a bite while you are out. Although, none like Crazy Eric’s hamburgers.

This Story Really Happened.
It was spring in Las Vegas. April, the year 2011. I would consider myself a reasonably bright individual. Resourceful, for sure, the outdoors type-more yes than no. Christina, a good friend, and I had recently worked ourselves into somewhat of a hiking frenzy, or the beginning of one. We headed out to Red Rock Canyon around 10 am to get a “quick” hike in before our day in the busy city life got started. We chose a loop trail that should have only taken us a few hours. Perfect to get ourselves going on that crisp Las Vegas morning. Trying to escape the "madness in every direction, at any hour" or so Hunter S. Thompson, the author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, would describe the lifestyle.

My Rescue.
The year is 2009, furthermore, I have finally gotten my life together. As much as a nineteen-year-old can think she has her life together. I started a new job that was paying me well enough to finally move out of my ex-boyfriend’s parent’s house. Yes, it was as awkward as it sounds. Now I lived with two girls, in a house, in a good part of town, and I thought my life was as good as it was going to get. Just another time in my life I turned out to be wrong. The girl that owned the house, Karla, was gifted two little black puppies and of course, I melted. Who doesn’t melt for puppies? Well, Karla told me she was keeping one for sure.

Rules To My Life.Top Story - March 2021
I have suffered from depression for a little more than half of my life. It is a rough road to living and being satisfied when dealing with depression. Throw in a little obsessive-compulsive disorder and you really have a recipe for some fun thought and behavioral patterns. I require a set of rules to keep myself above water. Through the creation of these 'life rules,' I have made it easier to enjoy my life. Let's just get right down to it;

12 Year Old Entrepreneur Tackles Real World Issues
At what age does greatness manifest itself in a person? Does it happen when we experience an act of injustice play out before our eyes, or when we see something miraculous-like a rocket leaving Earth for the first time, or is it simply implanted within us at birth? Rooting itself, spreading through our veins? Blossoming as we age, ripening with life experience? For some, I believe it manifests much sooner than others. The ability to see the world for what it is and what it could be. The calling to want to be a positive change for your community by bringing people together equally. By standing up for what’s right in the world. Trying to help everyone around you feel welcome, appreciated, and happy. Kumei Norwood sets the bar for all young women in the generations to come with her views on racial equality, feminism, art, and entrepreneurship at the ripe age of 12 years old.
