Think (About It)
Another popular funk song from the early 1970s came in the form of this song, written by the Godfather of Soul, James Brown and performed by Lyn Collins. Released in 1972 and produced with the band, the J.B.s, backing up the instruments, it later became heavy sampled in hip hop over a thousand times. One noticeable section would be "It Takes Two" performed by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock. The "Woo Yeah" part or the think break, which was heavily used in many songs is heard throughout the song. While Lyn's lyrics are used as part of the chrous, in which where the "It takes two" part comes from.

LHS Class of 01: Graduation
It was the day of graduation and Megan was getting ready as she put on a black dress and a blue cap and gown. She also became valedictorian as she made the highest grades throughout. While reading her speech she took a look back during her freshman year, when one of her friends moved to another town, joined the art club, starred in her first play and helped a couple of students with math. an hour later she and her parents drove to the downtown college where its auditorium is holding the ceremony. She went backstage where she was greeted by her fellow graduates before being called on by the principal to perform the speech to the audience. "Good morning today I wish to present this year's valedictorian, Megan," the principal said and the crowd cheered and clapped as they saw megan. Then she reached the podium with her speech and prepared to speak. looking emotional on stage she began to read. "Today, we have many things to be thankful for. As graduatues of Lincoln High School we have received a great education with the help of our administration and teachers. We had prepared to move on and to take on whatever challenges that come our way. My fellow graduates, I want you to know what a great gift it is to be here on this fine day. Celebrating a significant milestone and moving on to another chapter. We can also thank our families for their love and support. These past four years had not been easy but we looked to them when things got hard and made sure that we got things together. I remember when my parents spend every night helping me with my math homework during fourth grade and half of those nights restless. so I thank them for all the help." Then she moved to the middle of the part of her speech. "I would like to celebrate the students who could not be here today and remember the classmates who are no longer with us. I hope we will never forget them and keep their memories alive. Personally, I am inspired by my friends who have done so much in those four years to be here graduating today. You have been tenacious when it came to dealing with so many setbacks.'' Then she reached the conclusion of her speech. "When we leave here today, we will celebrate what we have accomplished, and look forward to how we spend our future endeavors and become the inspiration for others when it is their time. Congratulations Class of 2001!" After she wrapped up her speech, the whole audience cheered and applauded her. Within an hour of the ceremony, the graduates walked up on the stage receiving their diplomas from the principal. By the end of the ceremony, the principal went to the podium to speak to the crowd. "Once again congratulations to all our graduates today." the principal spoke. all the graduates went outside to greet each other and their relatives. "Aw congrats" Joan said to Megan hugging her. Emily came up to them. "That was a nice speech," Emily said to her. thank you, Megan replied. Peter then came over to them with a camera. Megan Joan and Emily quickly posed for a picture and Peter took one. Then Marc and Scott came up from behind him with a camera of their own. They all then took pictures of each other. Later they all went to megans house for the graduation party. Megan finally got a perfect banner that read congratulations seniors. It was somewhat a small gathering with less people than there was at Megan's party two weeks earlier. Then her parents called her and her parents over to the couch to take a picture together.

LHS Class of 01: The Prom Part 2
The three couples walk to the school gym where the prom is being held. They are separately greeted by several classmates and the few teachers that were the chaperones. Megan was excited to see everyone having fun and had Peter as her date. Marc and Emily were dancing with each other and a few people were staring at them very confused as to why they were dancing together. "Why is he dancing with the weirdo?" a voice said a few inches away from them and Emily was concerned. everybody's staring at us, Emily whispered to marc. "I know, but let's not pay any attention to them." he whispered to her. "What about francis?" she asked him. He's not bothering us so I'm not paying him any mind either. He said as they continued dancing. Meanwhile, Joan and Scott went by the food table to get something to eat. Scott got himself a paper cup and got a scoop from the punch bowl, which is full with lemonade. Then he went to get Joan a cup and filled hers with lemonade and then someone purposely bumped into him. That caused him to crush the cup, spilling some of the lemonade on his suit and the rest on the floor. Joan is understandably shocked by what she just saw and quickly grabs some napkins for Scott to clean himself. "I'm so sorry, are you okay?" she asked him as he wiped the lemonade off of his suit. yeah this stuff happens to me all the time he responds as he cleans the floor too. well that should not have happened. she said as she helped him clean the floor. I never thought this is how we spend our prom. He said in a disappointed tone. It's not too bad. "we're here together and celebrating a great night for all of us." she said, assuring him. "you're right," he said as he gave another cup of lemonade. "Can I have your attention please?" The principal spoke to all of the seniors as she was standing on the podium. "It's about that time to announce the senior prom king and queen." She is handed two pieces of paper to read the names and two crowns. Francis is standing in the crowd, figuring that he might win like before. "And this year's prom king is" the principal reads from the paper "Marc" she shouted with excitement. Marc is surprised but happy and walks on stage to receive his crown. Everyone in the crowd was happy for him except francis. "And now it's time to announce the senior prom queen and this is" the principal read from the paper "Emily. Congratulations." Emily was very shocked and was not aware that anyone had voted for her. She went on stage and received her stage, standing next to marc. After years of losing to Francis who often gloated to him, Marc felt this was one of the best moments of his life. and since he was on stage, he felt like he could use the opportunity to gloat it to francis. Instead he went a different route. "I wish to thank everyone who has been supporting the teams for the last four years. This has been a great school year and I'm glad we all made it here to celebrate tonight. Class of 01." he said and everyone cheered in unison. After Marc and Emily get off stage, they are greeted by Joan, Scott, Peter and Megan in the middle of the gym. I'm happy for you guys, Megan said to Marc and Emily hugging them both. Well, it was unexpected. Emily replied. The two continued dancing while enjoying being named prom king and queen. Francis, still upset, watched them dancing from across the gym. "Come on let's dance," Valerie said to him and they danced for the rest of the night too.
