Golden sun beats down on the land, Warming every inch of sand, The morning dew has long since gone, As nature's creatures start to yawn.

Oh, whiskers and purr, your charm beyond compare, A cute cat with fur that's soft and fair, Eyes bright as stars, a sweet little nose, A tiny pink tongue that sometimes shows.
Amidst the silence of the night, I sit alone with thoughts in flight. The world outside has come to rest, But in my heart, a storm persists.
The empty spaces that you left Are filled with shadows, dark and deft That haunt my every waking breath And fill my dreams with loss and death
