My Adventures: Morocco
A new series of posts I'd like to share is my adventures abroad. Obviously the last couple of years have seen some major disruption to my desire to see the world. But, I do have a lengthy list prior to it all. So, I'll start with the country that really blew me away more than the others, and that's Morocco, specifically, Marrakech. Which is what you see in the image above.

Doing what I can for my team
Sometimes it's hard to know where to start with kindness and generosity. You might say hello to a lonely neighbour every now and again, or you might say yes to that donation when you pay for something. But, you might have a bad day or a bad week and suddenly you don't do any of that. Are you a bad person for it? No, because in those moments where you showed kindness, it made a difference. That lonely neighbour didn't feel so alone for a week. That donation helped a charity afford something for their cause.

My Top 10 Films of All Time
If you're anything like me then film has been a part of your life for longer than you can remember. My Dad always enjoyed film and he encouraged me and my sister to follow suit. He wasn't shy about showing us films way beyond our age range. An 18 rated film wasn't off the table when I turned 9. I remember sitting at around that age and watching Assault on Precinct 13 for the first time. But, it's where my love for film took off. I'm not someone that takes in all the independent and foreign films, so I'm hardly an expert in what makes a good film. This list simply takes a look at 10 films that influenced my life, or left a lasting impression. Also in no particular order except the top three.

Gaming Review: Hell Let Loose
As someone who enjoys the odd video game every now and then, I do try and find something that is worth my time. Since the start of 2020 I drifted between the FIFA franchise and Call of Duty, specifically the Warzone mode. Both are entertaining to a certain degree. The kind of games that when it's going well it's good, when it's going bad it's awful. I got bored playing them and needed something new, that's when FarCry 6 came on the scene. The game is really fun and offered some single player enjoyment, but as the game was coming to its conclusion I wanted something new. Hell Let Loose was the new and it came at just the right time.

Out of Sorts
The idea of adventure and exploration isn't for everyone. Some dream, but won't ever venture beyond their homes. Some don't see the need for adventure and are quite happy living their lives without it. Some don't even think about it. But, I was different. My mother and father both lived on the road for many years before having me. Staying in towns and cities you wouldn't have thought even existed. Even when I was born they couldn't settle on a place to stay.

The Ripple
It's tradition. That's all it is. Oliver was last to arrive. Pulling up in his new Tesla, despite the terrain of the trip decidedly problematic for anything other than an off road vehicle. Joe, Tony and Rob were standing on a small slope each paired with a small bag of luggage. Oliver jumped out of his car and gave his friends the thumbs up. He paced towards the boot of the car and whipped out his bag before briskly walking towards the slope.

Who comes after Bukayo Saka?
The Arsenal have enjoyed, for a long time, a real production line of talented players coming through the ranks. Whether they joined as early as 9 years of age, or signed from abroad and placed into the academy set up. Arsene Wenger was famous for spending much of his time nurturing this young talent. The term ’unearthing a gem’ took on a new meaning in Wenger’s tenure. It’s a phrase that the club have tried desperately hard to maintain.

Work Experience
I don’t know how global the idea of work experience is, so I’ll briefly explain for all those who engage in this post. In secondary school, at around the age of 15/16 it’s compulsory for students to complete work experience. Two weeks at a job of your choice. Of course the idea is to get you ready for the real world of work. A snapshot of your future so to speak.
