My Favorite House Plants for Beginners.
In one of my earlier posts, I talked about the rise of house plants during the lockdown. Indoor gardening is far older than the pandemic. However, the boost in popularity means new people want to know a good place to start. I'm not an expert in botanical affairs, but I have taken care of plants long enough to tell you what works for me.

How I Chose What Perspective to Write In
The perspective that you write in has more impact than I realized. A refresher in case you forgot. First-person is when you narrate the story through the eyes of the main character. In this style, you're more likely to see the words I and Me. Third-person is when you move the "camera," so to speak, and focus it on the world itself.

You know your world, characters, arcs, and dialogue better than anyone else, even if it feels like you don't.

Five Unique Settings You NEED to Write About
I will go out on a limb here and say that most of us agree that world-building is one of the most exciting parts of the writing process. Grabbing an abstract idea from your mind and cultivating it into its own universe can be an exciting creative warm-up. Most of the time, environments and societal structures in fantasy pieces can really make or break a story. For example, people will ask you about your Hogwarts House, not which character you like the most.
