The Great Fish Caper
Kiko slipped in just as the last group of onlookers followed the red exit sign to the door. She’d purposely chosen the slowest night of the week, when she observed there were barely any cars in the parking lot. She’d scoped out this location for months, planning the best time to come, and it had taken all her patience to wait for the right time. Finally, she had made it—just before closing. Her eyes widened as she stared at the tunnel of fish above her, and she imagined reaching beyond the glass and feeling the fish and other sea creatures she didn’t know the name for.
