Vegas Golden Knights 2020-2021 playoff prediction
After yet another very successful season, The Vegas Golden Knights finished with a record of 40-14-2, earning them second in the west this season. It should have been first, instead of Colorado. We were the only team to get 40 wins this season, I wanted that division banner and the President's trophy. But I digress, it is what it is. The Golden Knights still finished with the highest goal differential of 67, 191 GF and 124 GA. Marc Andre Fleury and Robin Lehner won the William J Jennings trophy.

A Day To Remember part 2
A mixture of my first ADTR article doing so well, and me feeling like I still left a plethora of songs on the table. I decided to write another article, I'm simultaneously surprised because I didn't think there were still so many fans. But I'm also not surprised since their music is incredible. There are moments of pure sulking and a little bit of self pity in post-hardcore, don't get me wrong. But again that is why I find "A Day to Remember" and even bands like "We Came As Romans" so refreshing. They even just get better with time. Why don't we take a look at a few more song together, shall we?

Just keep breathing
I've discussed this band previously in one of my very first articles. We Came as Romans is still one of my all time favorite bands. I remember someone asking me once if there was any like; positive/happy post-hardcore bands. I immediately thought of "We Came as Romans". This band truly helped me through some very rough times in my life, especially as an angsty teenager. So hopefully if you're going through that phase right now while reading this article, they may be able to help you the same way they helped me. This is one band I truly regret never seeing live. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to eventually even though it won't be 100% the same after Kyle's passing. RIP brother.

Aang's long lost "Team Avatar"
Re-watching Avatar The Last Airbender on Netflix gave me a wonderful idea. There have been plenty of "what-if's" about Aang not running away. My title is a little click bait because I don't want to talk about Aang not running away. But I do want a story line to during the Hundred year war; of the water, earth, and fire benders holding out hope for Aang's return. As I mentioned in the title above these three benders are who should've been Aang's team Avatar. Don't get me wrong; I absolutely love Katara, Zuko, and Toph. But I think this is a very interesting group of people. In no way would this alter the general plot of the original series, in fact I'd love to not have Aang find out about this troupe until he's an adult.

My most influential/favorite post-hardcore/metalcore bands
I was listening to music in my car the other day, and I was thinking after the death of "Extreme Thing" and "Van's Warped Tour" not too many people listen to Metalcore/Post-hardcore anymore. Probably rightfully so, but I still enjoy the feeling of blasting old my high school playlist in my car. So here are a couple bands and a few of their albums I still absolutely love to this day.

Avatar Zombies
I have to start off by saying, of course this story/stories will take place outside of the established avatar canon. So in no way shape or form would this interfere and/or influence the main avatar storyline/timeline. So please as you're reading this article; do not worry if I take any liberties or even choose to kill off a couple characters here and there. This is purely fan fiction. Lastly I also want to make some points very clear. In all of these stories the zombies would retain their bending abilities. But of course these undead benders be significantly more violent, more ruthless, and way more durable. I will also be using the word "zombie" very freely, you'll see.

Punk's not dead
If you couldn't tell by the various articles about; punk music and even Ska music. I love everything punk and grew up a huge punk, so let's talk about why punk fashion really needs to comeback. Now disclaimer, a lot of punk can be very NSFW. I will try to keep this article as PG as possible, however if anyone takes offense to anything I do apologize and I just want to say, potential content warning ahead. So, read at your own discretion you have been warned. Finally although the title is incredibly overused, sue me. The other option was supposed to be MAPA, you can figure out what that title was supposed to mean.

If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree
Before I get started, this is not to hate on anyone especially those with learning disabilities or anything like that. This is article with purely be a critique about writing characters that are incredibly one dimensional. I understand that the "stupid" character is a main staple especially when it comes to sitcoms. But I genuinely believe everyone is smart in their own way, hence why I titled this article the popular Albert Einstein quote. He once wrote, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”. But in sitcoms we only ever see the stupid characters stay stupid or worse get stupider as the show progresses. Here are some examples of both characters who are stupid for the sake of being stupid and those few and far in between that broke that trend. Then worst of all of course, unfortunately those who got dumber.

Hi-scores, how I miss you so
There really is just something special about having your own "home bar", it's such a travesty this bar-cade was a covid-19 casualty. But I don't want to this article to be negative, instead let's celebrate the life of this amazing local bar. For those of you unfamiliar with bars in Las Vegas, it's actually pretty difficult to find local, home grown bars. Almost all of our bars are just PT's, which I'm not complaining about. They're good bars, but there's something I appreciate of a local bar where I truly got to befriend the bartenders.

McMullan's Irish pub
I'll be honest, at first I was going to skip this submission to "local eats" challenge. That was until I got a random text during my work day by a fellow vocal author Megan. She's a good friend of mine whose profile I have just attached as a link.

Basketball Mount Rushmore
I've always found it interesting that basketball is always the one sport where your "Mount Rushmore" comes up, especially since there are pretty much 3 givens. I guess more often than not people ask because they want to see who your 4th choice is and why you left off said person. I'm gonna really irritate some people today, completely unintentionally. I swear.

Undertaker WrestleMania dream match
This weekend (at the time of this article being published) is the first WrestleMania since the Undertaker's official retirement in 2020. So I got to thinking of a wrestler who unfortunately never got their chance to wrestle The Deadman at WrestleMania. As a quick refresher Taker retired with a record of 25-2, only having lost to Brock Lesnar 2014 and Roman Reigns in 2017. However in my bizarro world The Streak hasn't been broken yet, and this dream match will replace Roman's match from 2017. Will The Streak eventually be broken in this world? Maybe, but also maybe not. However The Streak still being intact is important to this booking.
