Gene Therapy and What Does This Mean For Me?
What is Gene Therapy? Gene therapy is the transmission of genetic information to deal with an illness. Although the theory has prevailed for many decades, clinical research appeared in 1990. The original clinical application was commenced at the US National Institutes of Health for a rare immunodeficiency affliction (Anguela & High, 2019). Since then, 2,500 additional clinical applications have been introduced for a vast spectrum of treatments, from an array of monogenic diseases to infectious diseases, complex neurodegenerative complications, and even cancer (Anguela & High, 2019).

Summary of Article Forand and DeRubeis (2013) describe the research involving anti-depressant medication would suggest that only taking the drug is not enough. Currently, most anti-depressant medications are prescribed by primary care physicians, who typically are not specialized in mental health issues. It is suggested through the article that evidence-based therapies accompany the pharmacological treatment.

Ethical Principles and Standards
A Brief Background When I was 14, I was relocated from my mother, in Texas, to my Stepfather’s relatives in Michigan. My mother and stepfather lived a hazardous lifestyle of drugs and illegal activity. I was taken to Michigan by my stepfather and placed in foster care because he pled guilty to charges of sexual abuse that involved me while I was put into his relatives' home. (they were equivalent to my step-aunt and uncle) Brenda and Neil Gerber took me in at the age of 14 and, as teachers, were a very positive influence that completely changed my life. This influence prepared me for a very positive, ethical, and essentially a higher moral way of living because I was exposed to a very different perspective from my mother’s influence. Later I got married at 21, worked at a bookstore for 8 years, became a flight attendant, worked as a substitute teacher and a preschool teacher when my daughter was 3.

Are video games and Computer screens, including cell phones and most electronics, considered another addiction?
Within modern society, most of us, and indeed our kids, have electronic apparatus with screens. There is considerable discussion over the implements of screen control and disclosure of violence in video games. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), some of the rigid protocols for screen time may be unnecessary, indicating that not all time kids contribute to screens, including digital devices, is harmful (AAP, 2020). The AAP suggests a balance between the rising dependency on technology and what is healthful for youthful and growing minds (AAP, 2020).

Family, Friends, and Zoom during COVID 19
Being separated from your child is the hardest thing any loving parent can go through. Words can’t begin to describe the feelings of loss, emptiness, and sadness that a parent can feel during this time. Because of COVID 19, my stepson reached out to me and his did for the first time in 5 years of separation. While COVID 19 has been a traumatic experience for everyone, I am Thankful that the recent events had allowed people to come together in a virtual world using modern communication that would not have been an option 20 years ago.

Wine and therapy
Wine therapy can be defined as a series of refinement strategies that employ red wine and must. Must is the repeatedly crushed fruit juice that consists of the skins, seeds, and fruit stems. The substantial part of the must is called pomace and generally produces up 7–23% of the must's absolute substance, making it the initial step in the winemaking process (A History of Wine as Therapy, 1964). A beauty treatment born in France to obtain the most from the antioxidant, toning, and detoxifying properties of grapes promptly escalated to the rest of the world, notably in Italian wine lands (A History of Wine as Therapy, 1964).

Religion and Wine:
As one of the original alcoholic drinks of contemporary human civilization, wine has imparted itself into practically every significant religion of the world. Since the birth of time, the doctrines of Europe and the Middle East gradually embodied this “nectar of the gods“ into their observances, declaring its fame and continuity throughout generations and millennia of individual growth. During great courses of time, the recipe of wine was secured as a mystery of religious faiths and influential established families of Sumerian and Egyptian authorities (Fuller, 1996). When wine eventually reached Ancient Greece and Rome, it created an original set of gods and rites focused on this compelling alcoholic drink (Fuller, 1996). As those ancient civilizations collapsed, wine worked to withstand the dark and middle ages under the preservation of Jews and Christians, instructed by various wine displays in the Bible (Fuller, 1996).

A Holiday Treasure: Wine and Friends
Wine involves, better than any other refreshment, the competence to permeate its consumer with desire by the senses of sight, aroma, savor, and caress like no other alcohol. This is accomplished from the moment you notice it poured in the decanter or glass, through the moment its aromas stimulate your breath. At the same time, it caresses or flits across your tongue, until easily after the moment you sip it, with its lingering flavor.

Coaching Is the Hottest Trend To Hit the Self-Improvement Business
Coaching Is the Hottest Trend To Hit the Self-Improvement Business Coaching can be easily described as “partnering with clients” that helps them in a thought-provoking and innovative process that motivates them to expand their personal and professional capabilities. Professional coaches maintain an ongoing partnership devised to encourage clients to develop fulfilling outcomes in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help communities improve their behaviors and boost the quality of their lives. Coaches are educated to listen, to recognize while customizing their approach to their client’s needs. They offer to extract solutions and strategies from the client. This includes what the client has customarily acquired, allowing the client to be more creative and resourceful. Ultimately the coach’s job is to implement support to strengthen the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
