I have always considered myself a writer and poet. Now I opened my 5th Chakra to share my imagination to the universe. I hope you enjoy.
My dog is the coolest dog ever. The first time I saw him was way, way up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains during a horrible snowstorm. There he was, a little puppy all by himself on the side of the road. First, he looked at me as I pulled over in my car. Then, he ran up to me and jumped in my arms. He licked my face as he wagged his short little tail. It was love at first sight. Fifteen years later, and he is still with me.

The Hidden Heroes
I am a nurse, and like many nurses and healthcare workers, the coronavirus pandemic was a challenging time. At the hospital where I work, they only did emergent/urgent surgical and GI cases, so they only needed a few nurses to assist with these type of procedures. As a result, many of us floated to other departments in the hospital, such as the ED, ICU, telemetry, and medical/surgical units. During the pandemic, I worked in the ICU for three months.
His Job is Love
A very cute cock-a-poo came into our family's lives back in February 2006 when our daughter, McKenna, was just 4-years-old. McKenna got a laceration after hitting her head on a fire hydrant, which required stitches. As the physician was sewing her laceration on her head, my husband, Joey, asked her what would make her feel better. McKenna immediately replied, "A puppy." So we planned to visit the pet store to see the puppies, but we never planned to buy anything.
The Pear Tree Lives On
It has been two months since Jessica came home, but it didn't feel like she belonged there with her husband, John. For some reason, she felt uneasy around him. He didn't seem like he wanted her to be around. He was often gone until it was after 10:00 at night. He told her he had to work late as his job as a hedge-fund manager was very demanding. She wondered if he was having an affair. Funny, she didn't care if he did.
I Wish I Could of Held You
" My little one You have left us too soon Through my body can no longer hold you I hold you forever in my heart As precious and beautiful
The driver of the black car tore up his entire house looking for his watch. It was the watch that his father had given to him on his eighteenth birthday. He wouldn't have cared, but the watch had his name engraved on the back. He feared that if his watch was found by her body, he would be identified as the killer.
The Green Light of Hope
Paul was leaving his 10-year class reunion, but then he saw her standing outside of the high school they both attended. She was so beautiful that he stopped to look at her. Her curly dark brown hair rested perfectly down her back and framed her face nicely . Her dress was black and sort of plain, but it looked fantastic on her. It didn’t matter what she wore because she could make anything look good. He didn’t realize how long he was staring at her until she looked over at him. He then quickly looked away.
I have been watching her every day for the last two months. But, unfortunately, she isn’t the woman she once was. Her name is Samantha, but she likes to be called Sam. She used to be a real classy lady. I mean elegant. I wish the world only knew how beautiful she was. If you looked at her, you might see a petite woman, about 5 feet tall, with dark brown hair and a great smile. But the first thing people would notice about her was her eyes. She has the most beautiful green eyes that anyone has ever seen.
There is a lady on the corner Begging on the city streets She lowers her head in shame asking for money Because she needs something to eat.
