My Opinion on the GQ Interview with John Boyega
Before I get started on this, I want to say that you're allowed to disagree here, but consider everything I'm saying because this is all valid stuff as I am a Black man myself. Granted, I was born and raised in America, and John comes from a background that's British and Nigerian, but still, we share the same skin color.
Remembering the King
I honestly don't know how I'm going to be able to write this because I still can't believe this man is gone now... I know I never met him (even though I wanted to at some point), and I know I haven't seen him in a lot of stuff, but goddamn it, when he hit his mark, he made sure you felt something, and it didn't matter what. I know I got a little sidetracked because I don't know how I want to write this, so please bear with me.
Banter: Underrated Fun
Have you liked someone so much that your chemistry with them works with each other? Are you currently in a relationship, and you guys can feel the chemistry oozing? Then, you have to keep reading because, hopefully, you agree with me in this. Married couples apply to this as well.
Bill and Ted Face the Music Review
Wyld Stallyns are back! What has this excellent band been up to since the last time we saw them? Well, it looks like it's been a lot. They got married to the princesses from medieval England, they've had kids, have houses, and have still been busy trying to write the song that's supposed to unite the world. Well, is the movie any good? Let's go through it and find out, spoiler-free, obviously. Now... LET'S ROCK!
The Night Life
Chris pulls up to the parking lot at his favorite diner after dealing with a rough night with a job. It's a 24/7 diner with a 1950's aesthetic, but not a lot of people are there during the day, but at night, it becomes Chris' confessional booth in kind of a funny way. Not a lot of people can describe Chris, but if anyone could, they'd say he reminds them of a regular guy. Someone who doesn't have an ounce of an actor's likeness in him. The waitresses know him by name, and so does the manager of the place. They just hired a new waitress there, Gwen. If someone were to describe her, they'd say she looks like Alison Brie from Community and GLOW. She's a college graduate who has nothing going on for her. She lives alone, has no kids, and she doesn't have a pet to keep her company. The night may get a little interesting for these two lost individuals.
The Most Iconic Duo of All Time
The world has a lot of great duos, would you agree? I'd hope so, whether if it's real-life duos or not, they're probably still iconic. You got duos like Abbot and Costello, Batman and Robin, Cheech and Chong, Thelma and Louise, Riggs and Murtaugh, Bonnie and Clyde, Doc and Marty. These duos all have something in common: they're dynamic. However, no duo is more influential than Wyld Stallyns!
When I look back at being in middle school, I tend to look at them as if it's a franchise in a movie like they're sequels. 7th grade was the best year since it started everything, and it felt like things had shifted gears a little bit in the middle of the year, but it ended up with the best results from an unexpected move. 8th grade was by far the worst. It was filled with nothing but drama, then, 9th grade came and magic, sadness, and a bunch of other stuff happened because we went to high school after that.
We're all running from something every day. It may be from a feeling we have, our past, something that's bothering you now, or even someone but sometimes there is a few moments that hit us so hard where all we want to do is run from our lives and start anew. I've always wondered what I'd do if I wanted to run from my life and start something new.
My "Best Friend"
Ahhh, 2018... Lots of ups and downs, mostly downs but I made lemonade from the lemons that I was given but it wasn't lemonade I'd drink. I got booted out of the house I was living at the time with my family, I didn't have anywhere to stay so I ended up staying with my grandmother and my uncle, a good friend of mine from high school died, and I lost a really good friend of mine because she got married. My life drastically changed but the only good things that I had going for me were that I was going to community college to finish getting my degree and my best friend at the time, we'll call her... Josie.
The World I Was Safe In
Suddenly, I woke up and found myself in between a woman's legs but not like I was having sex but it was more like I was resting my head in her lap at first and I took a nap unintentionally. The first thing I noticed was that the woman is barefoot and her toenails were painted red, her legs were beautiful as well. Her legs weren't super toned or anything, they were fit and I could tell just by laying there that her legs were a little hard so I always moved up to her thighs for a more comfortable feel. She was wearing denim high waisted short shorts as well because, for some reason, I always know how denim feels.
